@MarkXIX yes you do, back in world war 2 and still today theyll do it, my freinds grandpa said that he remembers cooking off a grenade he would go "one banana two banana three banana SHOOT" then he would throw it for safety issues u shouldnt (i am not insulting you in any way)
@MarkXIX Soldiers do. If you're throwing a grenade into a room full of enemies, you don't wanna leave enough time for them to pick the grenade up and throw it back.
You guys should join the Army (I'm Canadian Forces) You get to play or "train" with real life stuff - search "Artillery Simulator" and click the 'Artillery Simulator' video then after click the related video link titled "Canadian forces playing with pyrotechnics"
OW! I had the volume turned up to hear the guy's voice, and then POW!
We REALLY need these for our CQB games--it usually takes us 2-3 hours to breach a small warehouse with "ballistic" shields. The only problem is, that would probably be mistaken for a gunshot.
These devices are a godsend for realistic scenario flashbang simulators in Airsoft scenarios. If you want a frag, you can put BBs in the blast cap, if you want to simulate gas you can put baby powder or flour in the cap. This allows us to simulate 3 different grenade types for tac-sim. We have really enjoyed using them.
I heard the useage of BB's is pretty piss poor in them allthough the Talc aparently looks great. Is this so? Also, how often do the O rings need changing?
THis particular design isn't a fragmentation device. THe ones that DO use pellets are plagued with functionality issues, but perform better (though still woefully inadequate) if you first prep the device by gently wrapping the core in paper to create a sort of "sail" to throw the pellets further.
man, thoes are some really cool "distraction" grenades. Are thoes avalible any where? Im a serious airsoft player and im always lookng for the realism. Where can I get a couple of thoes if they are avalible to the public?
Shut the fuck up about call of duty...

@snelpiller, So what's your point? The delay on the TG6 is adjustable
from nearly zero to 2-3 seconds. This particular unit had
been used all weekend, both as a flashbang sim as well
as a trip wire booby trap device.

InfiniteMultiMedia 1 year ago
No, the actual devices are significantly louder. This is strictly
designed for 'trainng' and of course that also makes it ideal
for MIL-SIM end users.
dorsai 1 year ago
Is it really loud, almost like what the military uses?

I wonder why they used an eight gram Co2 cartridge instead of a twelve gram. The twelve gram cartridges are much more readily available.

The 'burst diaphragm' must be replaced each time the device is used.
dorsai 3 years ago
are the burst diaphrams reusable or do you need a new one every time

The delay period can be adjusted in order to compensate for temperature variations. The
typical delay is 1.5 seconds.
dorsai 4 years ago
hmm how come it has a frame change at 1:15-1:16.. seems like the nade didnt blow for a long time or so.. so it got cut off n edited?
pingpong909 4 years ago
See previous comments. Delay can be adjusted. Have no clue as to why
they edited clip. Sound effect is
the same, regardless of the delay.

@pingpong909 hmm i agree
