  • amazing just amazing. the funny thing is that if a male sings this high and is not a christain than hes atoumaticly gay. odd right

  • Amazing, just amazing!

  • i love how they get so down on this song

  • I love the way that, not only does he hit the notes, but he demonstrates that he is having no difficulty, as he keeps all the high parts and even raises some parts.

  • Johnny was in a class by himself!

  • Vestal - Bb

    Johnny - B

    Vestal - C

    Johnny - Db

Vestal - D (putting her in rare territory with her ability to belt that high and so well)

    and then Johnny - Eb...

Absolutely amazing! But you know what really blesses and inspires me is the joy they have in singing about the Lord and His blessings! I feel it, too - and I'm looking for that city, too - and with a smile, too! Hallelujah! And thanks for posting this!

  • @chrisring123 So true, and that is what struck me too.

  • I'm not a really religious person, but I sure love Vestal Goodman!

  • @AlohaWulf

Good for you, there is not any need to be religious to know Our Lord Jesus.

    Besides, He hates religious people..

  • @Maria4095 God hates no man.

  • that is some kind of wig Vestal's got on there. I always used to say the only thing to survive a nuclear holocaust would be pond scum, cockroaches, and Vestal's hairpieces.

  • @Writerboy35 you made me just about snort my coke all of my monitor!

Her hair is a thing of amazement

  • Incredible...just incredible. Love it.

  • WE ALL DID THIS IN HOUSTON AND GALVESTON...YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE IF STILL ALIVE......KENNY AND JAY...WE ARE STILL HERE

  • i wish i could sing tht high

  • Johnny Cook what else can be said the smoothest tenor in gospel music. I know he is singing in heavens choir.

  • I remember hearing this song when I was a young girl. Thanks for posting it!

  • I think according to the obit, Johnny passed away in Huntsville,Al.on May, the 14th, 2000 with his family beside him. He sang in the late 90's for the Statesman. He passed away of kidney failure. Today he sings in heaven, berni

  • This video has been posted before, & on that one someone posted that Johnny Cook passed away several years ago.

  • Yeah

  • I wonder what ever happened to Johnny Cook?

I wonder if he is still living for the Lord?

  • Johnny Cook passed away about three years ago while living in Memphis. He was no longer involved in Gospel Music at the time of his death.

  • Actually, he passed away eight years ago, as seen in other posts.
