I think according to the obit, Johnny passed away in Huntsville,Al.on May, the 14th, 2000 with his family beside him. He sang in the late 90's for the Statesman. He passed away of kidney failure. Today he sings in heaven, berni

Johnny Cook passed away about three years ago while living in Memphis. He was no longer involved in Gospel Music at the time of his death.
