Konbanwa) I just told it as I had heard it from some movie.
I`ve been searching for a demonstration on Aikido for 40 minutes. Watch this small video "Aikido - This Will Blow Your Mind". Sorry, the Yutube didn`t allow me to add the link... (
@KaxyzKoi My native language is not Ukrainian though I hear it everyday around on mass-media and in village people speech. In my part of Ukraine we speak Russian. Though Ukrainian sounds milder for one`s ear.
Both p and b sound similar in Russian and Ukrainian. I had told you that I had had had )) pronounced good evening as konpanwa due to the fact that I heard it in some teaching video. For me it really sounds like koMpamwa. I remember it from the learning software called Rosetta Stone.
@inyazserg ah okay! Well that's interesting! I didn't know that parts of the ukraine spoke russian but then again I really don't know much about that region of the world! I've always wanted to learn russian :)
Ah yes, some people actually do choose to romanize the japanese n sound as an m in some systems, however i dont prefer it simply because it makes it difficult for people to learn to write the hiragana 'n' when learning japanese, but it does have a similar sound in some cases :)
@inyazserg and i ran out of space LMAO I'm not a fan of rosetta stone myself, but if it works for you then that's good, just make sure to learn the correct japanese spelling :) Because japanese words are so...like consonant vowel + consonant vowel sounds ect, there are not nearly as many sound combinations in the language as we may have in english or in russian, so a spelling error will surely result in a different word with a different meaning almost always.
@KaxyzKoi I live near the border between Russia and Ukraine, also my ancestors are from Russia, my GGmother lived there and my granny has come from there, but my granddad`s ancestors are Ukrainians. I think, two thirds of Ukraine are a little Russians. And almost half of Ukrainians living in Ukraine speak Russian and are partially of fully Russians. I don`t know who I am - speaking and thinking Russian, with mixed roots, Ukrainian by passport. Possibly that`s why I like Japanese definiteness
@KaxyzKoi konbanwa - it`s 5 AM in Ukraine. I haven`t slept at night, soon the foreigner comes to my city and I have to know English terms to be able to translate his speech to my aikido trainer. They are buddhists). Both are buddhists. If only you knew Russian I would show you some of my stories.
Добрый вечер) This combination of words mens the ordinary "Good evening". "Добрый" means "kind" or "good" and it tne past time was used as a definition for "good"ю Now this use feels like an archaism. Добрый now means "kind" when you tell about people or your KIND granтн. So, it is odd to tell добрый on the evening - we know that the nature is neither kind or angry. We use this word without paying attention to the words included.
@KaxyzKoi O, I`ll answer. Though after transcription into English those words will sound with a very strong accent.
Dobryy viecher (vyecher). Sorry, I don`t know how to give links to youtube videos, so, please, Japanese teacher, finв this video Сергей Матвеенко "Добрый вечер". I think, the sounds produced by Russian letters are not hard - just try to be hard and pronounce them without aspiration.
@inyazserg ah yeah well russian is a totally different accent!
I think I've heard that word before :O I will look that up though! It is hard for me to pronounce most european languages ^^ the things you do with your tongue, im not familiar enough with it! It'll take practice but ill get it :)
After I had practiced English a lot and made a lot of speaking in English, I kissed one girl and she was frightened with my tongue! I think the difference is just in the way you apply your tongue to different points in your mouth. Exercises would help you. How did you practice Japanese pronunciation?
@inyazserg LMAO wtf, that's just that girl being weird i think! or you were a bad kisser ;3 It is practicing though, the position of your tongue is very important :) Japanese I just tried to copy what other people were saying until I got it right! and still my accent needs lots of work but I try all the time!
@KaxyzKoi I think that there are no scientific works on the topic of tongue and oral receptors and the compatibility of one`s tongue to them. Though i`m not sure. Maybe there has been a guy once who measured a pleasure from English- and Russian speaking tongues. Notice: some places on one`s tongue are more sensitive. Some work more and have less sensitivity. The way of pronunciation may affect those two points. There`s a small possibility that extra-sensitive russian speakers would faint
@inyazserg ahaha maybe XD I know probably more about that stuff than I should, I read everything on sex and stuff but I'm sure there is a slight difference, but speaking and kissing are 2 very different things, and you don't exactly try to roll your rs and shove your tongue down someones throat in the same instance.
@KaxyzKoi and what`s fighting for if you can dodge? You just shift your body so that the agressor gets tired of unsuccessful attacks. I`m just a beginner - 3 months but I`m back from my training (gentle training where the attack is just mildly simulated) and my hand hurts from one almost real move.
@MrCwaniaczek LOL what a question. People write multi-dozen page essays on this. Do you mean in terms of sounds, in terms of writing? speech? culture? or did you mean korean/chinese/japanese? like the language? or did you mean korea/china and japan??
@MrCwaniaczek um...I'm still not sure what you mean :c' can you be more specific? Like how can you tell that something is from China, Korea of Japan? Cause that's pretty difficult to ever be able to figure out ;;
@MrCwaniaczek But that's the thing, there's like a million differences between then so I can't explain them all :(! hey all have different writing systems. Korean looks like this 내 이름은 케이트입니다 . Japanese looks liek this 私の名前はケイトです。 and Chinese is like this 我的名字是凯特. Korea and Japan have both been influenced by China in the past, but they still have very different histories...also Japan is an island and China and Korea aren't...can you be more specific as to what you want to know?
@theSEGAtwistisover9k Furigana are the small hiragana placed beside kanji and occasionally katakana in books aimed at young children to help them read the characters that they can not recognize otherwise.
@theSEGAtwistisover9k Haha no it's not stupid for you not to know! Unless you're reading material aimed at a younger audience, it doesn't come up a lot.
@KaxyzKoi while i agree with you that reading manga and Japanese magazines etc. are good to improve reading skills the problem is i don't understand anything i'm reading so i find it hard to get into.
I usually into disney animation and batman, but I am interested only acquiring on sexxy hentai hardcore comics from japon.. Do you know how to speak Japanese very well? I'm still kinda a beginner. Though I've got passed pronouncing and such. I've memorized several words and sentences. Example: Mattaku Doumo arigato gozaimasu Kawaii desu ne (X3) Kakkoi Watashi no namae wa -fill in the blank- desu Itadakimasu oishii gochisousama deshita baka aho Etc.
@RhymeBlack I'm not sure about that.~ loll from that list i can assume that youve just watched a lot of anime XD; I hope you continue to study and learn some more things :D
actually trying to teach myself Japanese. downloading free software on the internet, bought japanese language books and flash cards. It's semi-difficult. @Trixiaoyu Of course Kanji is harder :P I also learned kana in about a week, but some people learn differently or have different difficulties. Learning kana in a week is lucky~
@jimmyjam9014 Lol well if you watched any of my other videos you woulda seen that my hair isnt always so flat ;P It has a bit of a natural wave, but honestly I'm wayyyy too lazy to do my hair ^^ I'm not one of those girls that wants all the guys looking at me all the time ;p

@KaxyzKoi yeep, my ex has a similar noise and mouth, plus she had glasses...and my actual gf is blode and your eyebrows are similar too..wow, weird XD
heyy I really like your lessons, especially the one about DS stuff! I was wondering if you were planning on ever making any videos with tips on how to learn kanji? I've done the first 250 or so but now that I've learned this many I'm starting to find it difficult to fit anymore into my head.. can you suggest anything?
@alphafour Heyy~ I might make some videos on learning Kanji in the future but with Kanji I usually just pick up one or two every so often as I practice reading and so I don't really just sit down and study them...I think the hiragana methods could be applied to Kanji as well, but I'll see what I can do about a kanji video :) Thanks for the comment~
i recently learned hiragana from a book called "Lets Learn Hiragana" its a great book that helped me go from nothing to being able to read and write in hiragana. The thing i noticed is that some of the hiragana are writen slightly diffrent but do look very similar to what ive seen you write and from the comments. how do i find out if what im learning is proper hiragana? i dont want to think that i spent the last month learning how to write hiragana improperly.
Would you mind to send me a message with a link to this book? I've been looking for it since a long time ago, it would be very useful if you send me a link to download it.
@skwerl23 Hope you don't mind a correction, but Ai is a verb - Aisuru and it means to love, I think you knew that. But in Japanese it is rarely used to say that you like something, more like a romantic love I believe. So a correct sentence would be watashi wa kana ga suki desu.
Suki is the word for like and it is used in most situations like this :)
I believe I said in the video that I got it from chapters XD so yeah...got it at chapters. Umm I'm not sure but I doubt thats something that would be majorly helpful. Mostly its just to learn the verbs and their conjugations
You have the same dictionary as me ^_^ I don't highlight the words I know but I put bookmarks on the pages where there are new words I have learn so I can keep looking at them every now and then :)
Thanks! It`s useful. I`d like to add that I like both your inner and outer sides.

I've done the first 250 or so but now that I've learned this many I'm starting to find it difficult to fit anymore into my head.. can you suggest anything?
Thankss :)

Oh, verb conjugation.
Fun stuff. We're still going through some of it in Spanish 2. v.v
Where'd you get that verb book? I'm interested in getting one. c:
And does it mention, like, how to form a sentence with the verbs?

I believe I said in the video that I got it from chapters XD so yeah...got it at chapters. Umm I'm not sure but I doubt thats something that would be majorly helpful. Mostly its just to learn the verbs and their conjugations
