The Haflinger, the first horse, is referred to as a "chestnut" color. This is the breed standard. Sorrel is also an acceptable term. Cute Haffie--I have one too.

Omg, your Jack Russel type dog looks just like mine just bigger. I was like what is that girl doing with my dog lol. Even gives you that same look mine does when resting, don't even think about bugging me lol. That little mini is adorable and seems to have a big personality. You are so lucky to have those gorgeous fields of green to ride in. I have fields of dirt and weeds.....that as much fun.....lol :P
