I must also admit that I just like Sookie in the books a bit more than this one. I've got nothing against Anna, she's a pretty good actress but, this Sookie just doesn't seem have any pride. Like asking for money and the 'Oh everybody did it, accept my Holy Bill' attitude.

I love this series and this episode was awesome! I was totally :-O at the end there. I really wish Bill was a lot cuter though. Eric is so sexy! I love him! I think he's my fave character....sorry bill. :-P

Of course eric isnt going to die he's in all the other books. Godric might die but it would be stupid. Luke had like maybe 10 wooden bullets and just alot of silver strapped to him. Remember they have to be shot in the heart so if it kills more than like 2 or 3 that will be totally unbelievable.

At the end of episode 7 Eric runs to Godric as soon as Barry mentions that the Sheriff is there. Maybe it was Eric who saved Godric and then Godric saves Sookie. It will be different from the book probably.
The guy who plays the church leader is absolutely fantastic. You know those scary crazy reverends who smile widely and brightly while preaching the most hateful and close-minded messages... he pulls that whole thing so well he's both hilarious and really creepy, and he's just gotten creepier throughout the season.
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one paying attention to the supporting actors while all the other fans just swoon over the vampires :P But really, this show is so well-cast.
I think you are right... about possibly being the only one paying attention to the supporting cast.... I dunno. I'm just obsessed with the vampire storylines (especially since Godric) has returned. The regular folks.. get kind of........... boring? Maybe not the right word... but, I think you know what I'm trying to say.
I agree with you. The most interesting and rich and surprising characters are the vampires - Godric, Eric, Pam, Jessica, Bill,...and their relationships with others. The vampires always seem to be interesting and dark and mysterious whereas the other characters have dull moments.
I agree with you I have tried hard to find intrest in the eggs and tara plot and I just find it so boring. And God please could someone kill Mary anne already? I am absoulutly captivated by Godric can't wait to see more of him.
The acting is great no doubt, but the characters doesn't seem to be as mysterious and sophisticated as Godric or the other vampires for me. Like I do not find the Maenad or the shape-shifters as captivating as the vampires. Maybe when these develop further there will be more interest.

Perhaps it is my taste for sophistication, puns, ancient wisdom and mysterious things that attracts me solely to the vampire story. Ah, I think I got it. The other characters seem to be only defined externally, whereas the external is hardly important to the vampires, such a trait I treasure. Loyalty, hierarchy, trust, brotherhood, etc.. warrior qualities.

Godric is short hair and in the video the hair is a little longer than Godric is Eric and he says to sookie trust him so and Bill punch Eric I think is Eric what you think?

Maybe this is a potential SPOILER
for some people, but I wonder if they're going to follow the books loosely with respect to why Godric's there to begin with...I mean as far as his remorsefulness/wanting to no longer live

At the end of episode 7 Eric runs to Godric as soon as Barry mentions that the Sheriff is there. Maybe it was Eric who saved Godric and then Godric saves Sookie. It will be different from the book probably.

The guy who plays the church leader is absolutely fantastic. You know those scary crazy reverends who smile widely and brightly while preaching the most hateful and close-minded messages... he pulls that whole thing so well he's both hilarious and really creepy, and he's just gotten creepier throughout the season.
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one paying attention to the supporting actors while all the other fans just swoon over the vampires :P But really, this show is so well-cast.

I think you are right... about possibly being the only one paying attention to the supporting cast.... I dunno. I'm just obsessed with the vampire storylines (especially since Godric) has returned. The regular folks.. get kind of........... boring? Maybe not the right word... but, I think you know what I'm trying to say.

I agree with you. The most interesting and rich and surprising characters are the vampires - Godric, Eric, Pam, Jessica, Bill,...and their relationships with others. The vampires always seem to be interesting and dark and mysterious whereas the other characters have dull moments.

I agree with you I have tried hard to find intrest in the eggs and tara plot and I just find it so boring. And God please could someone kill Mary anne already? I am absoulutly captivated by Godric can't wait to see more of him.

The acting is great no doubt, but the characters doesn't seem to be as mysterious and sophisticated as Godric or the other vampires for me. Like I do not find the Maenad or the shape-shifters as captivating as the vampires. Maybe when these develop further there will be more interest.

Precisely. I tried hard to find them interesting, but I simply couldn't. Not compared to the vampires. Perhaps it is my taste for sophistication, puns, ancient wisdom and mysterious things that attracts me solely to the vampire story. Ah, I think I got it. The other characters seem to be only defined externally, whereas the external is hardly important to the vampires, such a trait I treasure. Loyalty, hierarchy, trust, brotherhood, etc.. warrior qualities.
