It was edited really badly and the drawings weren't very good. HOWEVER, with a little imagination I could see the characters looking really cool. And the story was kind of cool too, however the whole people being mad at the soul reapers is getting kind of old. And it would have to be like a REALLY long time ago, before most of the current captains became captains. Like before or in between the whole turn back the pendulum time line with the vizard captains.

I think the story does have some potential in and of itself. But I think it would be really hard for them to put between arcs or during an arc. Because if it has some mentioning of vasto lorde captains that would mean ichigo himself would have to go vasto lorde to defeat them. He can't do that though because: one he has no control over it and two from the time he goes vasto lorde until the time he loses his soul reaper powers the story has absolutely no room to put in a side story
