  • not sure why he would duet with this chick--she cannot sing to save her life. His voice is light years beyond hers. She sounds like a folkie with hairy pits.

  • Amazing song, easily the best song on the CD. Melissa auf der Maur has gotten better as a solo artist, this album is a major improvement over the first one and I'm sure the her next one will be a knock out as she continues to improve.

  • His voice sounds more natural here. Still great.

  • who dug danzig's father grave?

  • Hell of a song!

  • glenn sounds much better here that on red deth sabaoth!! unfair! =D

  • It feels Like a Strange Song from A Tarantino Movie

  • @Metalzeh I'd like to think that one day it will be in a Tarantino movie :)

  • @TheSteff616 I'd like to think that one day it will be in a David Lynch movie :)

  • He's got a better voice than she does...hahaha

  • @VredesStal I agree totally it is my fav album. I love Blood and Tears.

  • i really like this duet. Danzig has one of the greatest singing voices for any style. it would be awesome if he put this on one of his albums.

  • @VredesStal im the one 777 killer wolf ...bodies cant speek very bluesy

  • If Ozzy is the Prince of Darkness then Glenn has to be the freakin' Duke of Doom... Great tune, great "comeback" (w/ "Deth Red")...

  • Danzig covers record is confirmed, Elvis and Black Sabbath covers will be included for sure! :D

  • @TheSteff616 He could do Doors songs too, he's voice is basically the same as Jim's, just a little bit deeper.

  • @HUNspike I'm up for it, that would be perfect fit and Manzarek would surely play on the track ( he played on Cult's and Santana's cover versions, hell, he even played on Weird Al Jankovich's Doors parody :)) Anyway I'm really interested about his choice of covers , hopefully we'll have some more news soon.

  • Fucking A this is sick!

  • A lot of Melissa's overall sound is Gothic. And by Gothic I mean true, pure Victorian Gothic, not the fake pathetic version around today symbolized by "Twilight," Marilyn Manson, and slasher movies. Melissa captures the dark part without being satanic, and she captures the love/romance part without being sappy or silly. I just can't get enough of her! :)

  • @beatlesrgear

Dude, you hit the nail right on the head, there. I'm glad one person out there understands what true Goth is, not that way too overly dark, satanic, blood sucking, and miserable conception that people view today. Romance is equally a part of Goth as is darkness, and the relation between the two. It truly can be beautiful in a way, if it wasn't for those cry babies ruining it.

  • @beatlesrgear

I say all that not as a fan of the musical genre, but the literary one. I find MAdM's music ok, but I can see why you and many others out there like it. I certainly respect the style and goal, but it's just not my thing.

  • This song is really beautiful, though I'm sure others have said it before. But hey, why not emphasize that fact :]

  • this is beatiful

  • I love this song!!!

  • wow. this ia really great. epic.

album of the year for me.

  • Great song I love it! Can't wait for the Danzig blues album to come out. Gonna be great!!

  • @chazz7667 Danzig blues would be insane, hope we won't have to wait too long :)

  • Love it!

  • I think I read something about this song having to do with her father's death. I can relate. I had to bury my Uncle about 4 years ago, and it was terrible. I couldn't help but think what it's going to be like when I have to do the same for my parents. I try not to think about it.

  • I think Danzig should do a duet with Jarboe, if anybody. This isn't bad though.

  • God This Is Real Good...This Is Probably The Most ...that he sound like the man he worship'd Elvis...

  • @EndOfTheNight1 Totally .. that's why I liked Danzig in the first place way back when...because he sounded like Elvis. Been to Graceland twice. I wish more people would sing like that, but they don't.

  • @jilleden80 Thank you, love this song. I love that he sounds like elvis. But the best sound he produced as elvis personification was, American Nightmare. That song is awesome, this though, kicks ass.

  • @zombeepictureshow

Agreed to a point. Ju Ju Bone possibly surpasses American Nightmare as the most antielvis song ever recorded.

  • @EaterOfHumanFlesh Agreed, All the songs on Deth Red Sabaoth are fn great...My favorite song is though is Night Star Hel...Great f'n album..My fav is Danzig III by bar none.

  • Kudos to Melissa for being able to pull this off! I love the contrast with Glenn's deep, dark voice compared to her sweet, more innocent voice. Great song:)

  • Luv it. Danzig's deep voice sounds awesome with Melissa's sweet, higher pitched voice. To think he said he wouldn't do a duet. Melissa's pulled it off...great song:)

  • danzig is a musical demigod

  • This is awesome shit! Danzig is my fav Heavy Metal band, and Glenn is the best singer :)

  • Danzig 4 Life!!! Your welcome, something like this had to be shared :)

  • Danzig.... for ever... thank you for putting this up.

  • Could be cool, but the sound quality of this clip is unlistenable...

  • very different..but i like it

  • i think he did it, cause he too loss his dad back in 02. and if u listen to danzig's dead inside, it was written bout that

  • Love this SO much.

  • Awesome, Glenn still has that awesome voice!
