I'm not going to go through the comments to see if anyone else said something but Mec-gar are amazing magazines and they offer a 18 round magazine for the xd9. Check them out if you haven't already.

Oh, I forgot to add, that Springfield offered at the time I bought it a get-three-mags free offer, which also came with a mag pouch. I took the offer on the spot!! Great Deal!!

I think leaving the "Gear" out, Springfiled was able to still keep the price down. I just bought a service modal XD40, which came like your new one. But, I sure, more than anything, could have used a magazine loader! I can't load a full magazine without one. That said, I love my Springfield XD.

The *M* is suppose to mean match barrel and as far as ruger just giving out cardboard boxes yes the lcp came in one but for most others they do come in plastic cases... Just saying

@WickedKlown10mm Yeah I will put an annotation in my vid about Match barrel. Im pretty sure that Ruger sends most all of their guns in cardboard boxes now. I saw that Ben (23mrcowboys) even got his SR1911 in a cardboard box. Im a Ruger fan but wish they would give a real plastic case. Oh yeah my buddy biggunguy1 just picked up a new SR22 in a cardboard box.

They still offer the gearpack, what you got is called the Essentials. From looking at their website apparently you can choose one or the other.

Good video bro, you know I love me xd action. I actually looked for the "essential" kit when I bought my subby because I knew I'd be getting 3 free mags and mag pouch anyway. It was very affordable, like $370 affordable for a brand new pistol. Might actually be getting yet another one fairly soon. God bless bro.

@TheFireArmGuy yah but what is most important those little carry cases they give you ...you can fit piles of those in your range bags verses those gigantic suitcases....both these sig 1911s i have have just enough box to get the job done making it so you can fit 5 or 6 in the range bag....hmmmmm now thats an idea! i should get another

I'll take the service model. I want it in 45 acp & Bi-tone. Wait I already have it. They can cut cost by taking the gear away. Personally I only like the mag pouch. My XD holster did not feel right to me. AWESOME comparison.
