really, another worthless video. They left plenty of room for a firetruck to hook up to the hydrant. The law is in place so cars and trucks don't park all along the hydrant and block all access to it. Again, you have a weird obsession with this department. It's a wonder you haven't been setup yet...
@ohioguyshakes and i am sure if there was a fire they would hear it on the radio and get their bikes out of there right away, but for regular citizens like me and you, we dont have radios so we cant move our cars right away so then it would cause a problem
I like your attitude..... He admits to getting pulled over when in violation. If you can afford it, good. Park in a handicap space.... You can afford it.
this is glendale pd: ummmm yes we have a young armenian male driving a 100k dollar mercedes, he has no seatbelt on i need backup please send a helicopter please, or better yet send the fucking swat team. keep giving those tickets gpd cuz if i can afford a 100k dollar car i can afford all the seatbelt tickets u give me whahhahahahha
Can you please inform us why they were parked there instead of just posting a video that is obviously edited to make the cops look like the bad guys. This would fit the definition of Propaganda - thanks.
Funny how when someone gets caught doing the same thats not an officer doesnt get asked what he or she is doing parked in the spot. THEY GET CITED! Yet you want to change it when its a public servant. Interesting. talk about propaganda- your welcome
This is exactly my point sir, you didn't tell us why they were parked there. Were they on official business or just going out to lunch? These pieces of information can shed a lot more light on the situation. Thanks.
I just said if they're on duty doing something related to police work then they are allowed to park there. I also asked if you'd inform us WHY they are parked there, stop jumping around the question. If we knew why exactly they were parked there we'd know if they were doing the right/wrong thing.
LMAO!! They were on duty doing something related to police work. HOwever, they are NOT exempt. I have posted this many times. Only when they are on a call for service. Period! Sorry but maybe that is why they do not park there anymore. Cuz they know they are not exempt. who knows
Exactly, Look up the definition of emergency vehicle and what one a public servant has to be doing in order for it to qualify. Geeze! Just go back in my posts and look it up already. You dont like to read and it shows.
@Tactikalguy1@ohioguyshakes I agree with what you doing, but I would not suggest bringing the word propaganda in to the conversation. I still don't see where your providing the information regarding what the police officer is doing. I'm not discrediting you, just pointing out the flaw in your reporting of the incident. His lights would be on if this were an emergency, so I agree with you, but if you are going to make yourself an ad hoc reporter then you need to cover your bases.
so you are sayin that you would rather them park three blocks away to find a spot, then if they get an emergency cal have to run all the way back to their car to respond, no they need to be able to get back to their cars quickly to be able to resond at all times.
so stop trying police the police cause you just make an ass of yourself...
Look at the video moron. Most of the officers in here are not exactly next to their bikes. They shouldnt be wasting time trying to tell people what to do if there is so much crime in glendale. If that were the case they wouldnt be giving tickets at cross walks. They would be getting criminals but there really is not much crime if it takes so many officers at one location with no criminal activity. dont you think?
@WhyIsUSoDumb a cop has a radio, if there is a fire he will hear it on the radio and move their bikes, but you dont have radio so if you parked your car there and a fire broke out you wouldnt know and wouldnt be able to move your car so then it would cause a problem, do you have a job at all or do you walk around all day complaining and bitching?
I am not trying to ridicule the glendale police department. They are doing it to themselves every time they get CAUGHT breaking the law. Unfortunately, you are correct in one thing. My camera is silly and my grammar is horrible. I guess that makes it two things. Damn You!!!;)
any public ambulance or any public utility vehicle or any private ambulance, where the public utility vehicle or private ambulance has qualified as an authorized emergency vehicle or when any vehicle mentioned in this section is operated in the manner specified in the State Vehicle Code in response to an emergency call
Can they park where they want? The answer is yes. The Glendale Municipal Code exempts emergency and utility vehicles from parking restrictions:
10.12.050 Exemptions.
A. The provisions of this title regulating the operation, parking and standing of vehicles shall not apply to any vehicle of the division of police or the division of fire protection, any public ambulance or any public utility vehicle or any private ambulance
(b) If the local authority adopts an ordinance or resolution reducing that distance. If the distance is less than 10 feet total length when measured along the curb or edge of the street, the distance shall be indicated by signs or markings.
(c) If the vehicle is owned or operated by a fire department and is clearly marked as a fire department vehicle.
Amended Ch. 488, Stats. 1987. Effective January 1, 1988.
LOL. Once again, where does it say in the penal code that certain people can block a fire hydrant in a non emergency situation? As for Mr. 2800VC,I dont hate public officials. I have not broken the law in this video nor have the glendale police Ever given me a citation of any kind.I dont understand why you would presume that I have ever been caught breaking the law by the Glendale Police.
I wonder if you have ever filmed a fire truck blocking a hydrant. Do you hate all public servants like firefighters too? or just the ones who catch you breaking the law?
22500. No person shall stop, park, or leave standing any vehicle
whether attended or unattended, except when necessary to avoid
conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a
peace officer
So, if a cop allows you to park in a red zone... you may... So where is your issue again? Oh yea, you are someone who goes out looking for reasons to complain. Good job man
ha ha u dnt have the balls to talk like the other vids, go get a life

Actually, any emergency vehicle has priority and exemption to regular parking and traffic laws when responding to a call or complaint.

This is the California Vehicle Code:
