Both great players, though Adriano didnt play well last season, he hardly played at all. Adriano is a very physical player, but so is Rooney. Adriano's left-foot is probably more powerfull than Rooney's right, but i think rooney has a bigger range of shots, wheras adriano more or less always sticks with power. Adriano i would probably rate as more skilfull, but i would say Rooney was a much better play-maker, he creates as many gols as he scores.
