It is not true there was no second chance in the landing sequence. At any point right up to touchdown they could have aborted and gone back up in the ascent stage.

never understood why NASA could of made it if Russia couldn't. I mean I watched all these documentaries and none mention the Van Allen Radiation belt. How the hell did they sling shot there way throw the weak spot of the belt? Plus on the way back how did a capsule find its way through the heavy radiation belt? I am trying to believe but get all these questions.

Actually it happens all the time. I saw it on the Universe. All are Satellites are moving faster then a bullet. Satellies are constently crashing into eachother. They have been seen hiting eachother alot. Space is a death trap.

I agree that they were highly trained but unfortunately they lack in integrity, they helped their government lie to the whole planet.
