One American account of a giant skeleton (8ft, 6in) which appeared in Stranger Than Science (stories of unexplained phenomena which had been investigated or documented by official or reliable sources) comes from New Mexico in the 1930's. The archaeologist reburied it & took its exact location to the grave with him.

They were talking about it mainly because of the proof they had of it, but everything was stolen; unsure why, how, etc. There are many things that have been aired on television at least once or twice that are never really aired again. I'm always looking for things of that nature, anyway. :P

Read: "Strata" by Terry Pratchett, and get an explanation. The short-story is really funny, and he takes the P!ss out of Archaologist "know-it-alls that refuse to accept the do not know all. (Think Tyrannosaurs with rubber boots!...read it and understand) It also gives a very nice"what if" scenario. Crazy in the beginning, but applicable on weird stuff like in the vid.

@xz569 I used to believe stuff like you're saying for about 2 years during the time God was challenging my atheism to the point where I became an agnostic. The big bang is rendered a scientific impossibility by the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics at its beginning. The Sumerian account, not the Bible, is the blurry one that's in error in many places.

@Killtor448 I'll admit to not having compared the 2 side-by-side, but only hearing several times that the similarities are so uncanny that many people have assumed that the Bible account was copied from the Sumerian. Not surprising when one considers that Sumer was called "the cradle of civilization," that the acount most similar to Genesis would come from there. Other interesting oopart less talked about is Egyptian, listing Adam as the 1st & Noah as the 20th Pharaoh.

The most obvious and overlooked OOPART....the great pyramid of Giza. Comprised of over 2 million stones. The top of the pyramid is less than 1/4 inch off of dead center. Divide 2 million stones by 1/4 inch and you come up with an insanely high degree of accuracy at which the stones were cut and placed. A degree of accuracy that FAR exceeds anything we can do today with all our technology. This sort of construction was supposedly done with copper tools that are too soft to even cut stone.

@grey167 As a one time student of archaeology, all I have to say is most archaeologists would keep the said artifacts, but if they could not fit in any of the historians picture or dateline, that's where said artifact would be tossed into the forgotten bin. Sadly, that does seem to happen, but no, I would not blame archaeologists for it. Science sadly has to learn to find the guts to question itself more, regarding a broad variety of unknowns that it cannot explain right now.
