  • Hey I'm playing 2/3 of those pieces, myself

  • YES!!! i love him haha

  • He looks really great when he smiles. Go for it, Miloš!

  • Couldn´t help and stare all the time at his fingers...

  • romance... c'mon!!!

  • osea lo invitan a un concierto en un lugar donde han estado artistas de talla internacional y su primer cancion es una que mi hermanita de 8 años puede tocar??? creo que la unica virtud de este tio es su cara bonita ¬¬

  • classic

  • Milos, I beg of you. Lets get married and I will have your kids. I promise you will enjoy it just like I enjoy those gorgeous sounds you make on that guitar :)

  • Anyone recognize the brand of guitar?

    Amazing sound.

  • @babaluboo123 it looks like the smallman guitar

  • @babaluboo123 professional guitarists play luthier guitars

  • @babaluboo123 smallman guitars, john williams plays the same kind of guitar.

  • concierto de aranjuez <3 :)

  • he looks like the dude from american beauty

  • Omg his face when he plays is so handsome!!"!!

  • Nice.

  • the finesse, the technique, and the general feel of his playing really captures my attention. I like these types of guitar pieces because, if played by a virtuoso like milos, you can emote so much. guys a good looking dude too. haha

  • Having listened to Asturias an uncountable number of times, I think what I like so much about his version of it is that it is just so cleanly played - some artists it just kind of blurs all in together, but with him, you can feel him hitting each note of it. Fantastic.

  • hahaha the operation doomsday lunchbox on the shelf

  • Another great guitarist who really knows how to make the music breath and flow is Denis Azabagic

  • technically there are more what you would call great players out there but I have listen to quite of bit classical guitarists and one thing he has over alot of them is musical interpetation. He really knows how to let the music(melody) breath within a piece which more guitarist should look to do.

  • Oh my word. Amazing.

I'm hardly a guitar expert: can someone tell me what guitar he's got?

  • @ZaraMunro It's a Smallman guitar. Custom made by Australian luthier, Greg Smallman.

  • Very interesting interpretation of Asturias, loved the strength and focus of his playing. Thanks NPR

  • This guy has a serious case of guitar face. I love it.

  • the original is from THE STOLEN ONES..much better

  • No! Stupid people arguing and ruining NPR music! Damn you, youtube population! Taking good things and making them shitty is a specialty of ours.

  • The first piece he played sounded to me like a battle between the top two stings vs. the bottom three strings. Interesting sound.

  • @bkglamb Very observant of you! yes classical musicians use the bass strings as a rhythm piece while he tremolo picks the high strings. it gives the music a more full sound because of the lack of instruments in the room

  • Couldnt help but stare at Doom in the background at the beginning

  • Guitar a little out of tune, pity.

  • @nebrulla all guitars play out of tune it's inherent in their design.

  • @TheCompleteGuitarist I don't agree at all, sorry.

  • @nebrulla it's not possible to explain why guitars play out of tune in 450 words but you will find an interesting article on the subject here.

    timberens com essays tuning.htm

use a . for the com and slashes in the other spaces to make the link. It's an interesting subject if you care to study it. The human perception of pitch can be quite variable. Almost no instrument plays perfectly in tune yet can sound fine to the ear.

  • @TheCompleteGuitarist No doubt on variability of the human perception and this performance proves it, indeed.

Anyway I never perceived wrong notes in David Russell, just to cite only one guitarist really great...

  • lovely

  • meh, he's good but i've seen a lot better.

search for Li Jie - Gran Jota, for example.

  • @kurouki strange thing to say

  • @jackthesedays how do you mean? i'm just stating a fact, he's good but i've seen better, that's all.

  • @kurouki sometimes elitism tastes best underneath the tongue...thats all

  • @jackthesedays lol elitism? am i not entitled to an opinion? is that it? spare me the hypocrisy.

just because someone plays the guitar fairily well like milos does it does not mean that better work with the instrument doesn't exist in the world.

before writing crap, you should educate yourself on the subject.

  • @kurouki you had ought to educate yourself on the subject of social norms.......who listens to music just to name drop higher-ups?

  • @jackthesedays music like any other subject is to be judged, critized, apreciated and loved.

I'm not just droping higher up's, milos is a good guitar player, and before you criticize my opinion, just search for the video that i mentioned, you won't be disappointed.

    cheers

  • @kurouki fair enough

  • @kurouki That's very rude. Especially the 'meh' at the start of your comment stating boredom and disapproval toward his skills as a guitarist. You're entitled to your own opinions, but know that you have offended me and many others with your blatant rudeness and I wish you would leave your negative opinions to yourself.

  • @spooncastro i will not repeat myself, go read my previous comments (as far as the negatve opinions go)

and if u still cant compreend what i am saying, then learn for yourself the hundreds of guitar players that can perform what milos just did.

  • @kurouki I totally agree with you. I don't understand why he would play Spanish Romance in a set of pieces to show his skill....That's like the first song I learned. meh is right.

  • @timothyforvendetta i also know spanish romance ;-) the other two songs require much more skill and precision to play, specially the last one with the alternate tunning, that's why i said that he's a good player.

    cheers and thanks for agreeing.

  • He has an extraordinary control of his guitar!! Amazing!

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • ¡¡¡Bravísimo!!!
