How about the dead sea scrolls found just in the last 75 years that is from the same time Jesus lived and is word for word the same as the old testament in the bible.

there is no god, or at least not the god that any church or any religious text describes. mary was not a virgin. jesus did not have any powers, and did not save anybody. what proof do I have? Well... What proof do YOU have? None. Not any solid evidence. Yet, people follow the church with blind faith out of fear of what comes after death. There may not be a heaven, people. So live life to the fullest. LIVE FOR TODAY, NOT FOR SOMETHING THAT MAY NOT EXIST AFTER YOU'RE DEAD. Regardless, good music.

I do admit that there was some sort of being that started the universe, and that was it. Planet Earth isn't the center of the universe, and any sort of "God" would not focus on just our planet. The universe was created by an incomprehensible force/being. then, this being stands back and does nothing. The bible is just a STORY, just like The Cat in the Hat. I do admit that there's something out there, but it does not interfere with any of the universe's affairs, besides it's creation.

What makes you say that existence HAS to be started? It is beyond human comprehension to say how things came to be, which is why most (if not all) relgions exist today. Humans cant fully grasp the concept. Maybe the universe has ALWAYS been. Or maybe something DID create the universe. That 'something' (which would be what you call "God"), doesn't have to be worshipped, because this force did nothing but start the universe... if it even did that.

Uhm, no... If YOU'RE wrong, you will have lived your ONLY life, restricted. All, or most, of you Sundays and holidays are taken up with hours upon hours of sitting in a church. You won't take risks out of fear of sinning and going to hell. I do respect most belief systems (though I dont believe in any but my own), so long as they don't operate on fear. Christianity, catholicism, etc... They all use fear to control a large portion of the planet. And you live a very sad life indeed.

Most people have faith that has blinded them so much, that they cannot see facts that are supported with mountains of evidence. Faith is ridiculous then. Basically, they're asking you to be ignorant and not educate yourself, or question what they are telling you. There is no way the church can know any more than any other human being. Same goes for the two of us. It's just different theologies. And while I love discussing beliefs and theologies, the two of us clearly will not budge in what we think. When we realize just simply how wonder God is, we WANT to worship him nonstop. God didnt hell, Satan did.
