What does the headphone adapter do?

i think thats for if your normal headphone jack doesnt fit because of the case, so it has a small jack on 1 side and a normal one on the other

If your headphone jack is too big for the case's hole, you plug your headphones into the adapter and then plug the adapter into the iPod.

do u know if the paint on the nano can scratch cos i'm worried that when purchusing the ipod nano i will eventually scrap and scratch the paint off over time making it look crappy

Hi, I have had mine since the middle of November, I used it like normal just like throwing it in my bag (it had a screen protector) and putting it in my pocket etc, By december I bought a clear sillicone case as I noticed on the very corners (or curves lol) it was starting to show some silver metal(mine is pink)Getting a case really helped, other than that no scratches or marks on the rest I think it just cos cos the corners are pretty vulnerable, you can sense it when you feel them, good luck !
