  • 1. Lance Alworth

    2. Jerry Rice

    3. Steve Largent

  • Jerry Rice and Steve Largent are the best. Moss is a douche cake

  • you were clearly dropped on ur head multiple times to say randy was better then jerry rice.

  • ill take Steve Largent ahead of Moss

  • Excuse me but what about heart? Jerry's talent, numbers, rings and heart gives him #1 of all time no doubt. Randy is the most gifted but NO rings and no heart. He's a bitch at the end of the day. Takes way too many plays off.

  • Dude, you gotta be smoking some serious stuff. Randy "i quit" Moss???? This egocentric ***hole shouldn't even be on this list, but to be rated ahead of Paul Warfield & Jerry Rice?

Drink some coffee & sober up, please.

  • Jerry Rice is the best reciver in nfl history not randy moss

  • @LinajeEscogido3 Thank you. As much as i worship Paul Warfield, i have to admit that #80 is the best ever.

  • I think Jerry Rice is the best. Don't you take professionalism & heart into account too!

  • A moronic list in many ways. Leaving Art Monk off and putting Steve Largent on. Raymond Berry left off? Really? You have to take into account that Moss plays in an era when you can't touch receivers. And Irvin had HOFers all over the offense. Plus great Tightend and etc.

  • I have no beef about any rankings on the list as long as Rice is #1 and Hutson is #2.

  • I really enjoyed this video! My one quibble would be: If you were going to start a brand new team and you could chose one wideout to be on your team for life... would you take Steve Largent or Randy Moss?

  • moss has not done that yet therefore rice belongs on top

fuckin not even lynn swann and i hate steelers

  • moss has not done that yet therefore rice belongs on top

  • You left out Raymond Berry and Elroy "Crazy Legs" Hirsch.

Berry is the greatesr possession receiver of all time, and Elroy Hirsch scored 17 touchdowns in a 12 game season, when there was no such rule as passing interference. Moss did 23 touchdowns in a 16 game season, and played with today's baby rules. Face it: Elroy Hirchs played in a much harder time to receive than moss, and surely would have trumped his record in a 16 game season.

  • what where is raymond berry??? this list is void

  • randy miss has no leadership

  • jerry is number 1

  • On Moss being the most most athletic wide receiver ever. Me being a Bengals fan most people don't know who Isaac Curtis is but he had jet like speed. So did Bullet Bob Hayes. I think Jerry Rice is the best though. But anyway thank's for making the video.

  • Moss is great, yes, but I mean, nobody tops Jerry Rice, and I don't think anyone ever will, to be honest. I was just like "no, no, no, no, no, no, no," that's coming from a Saints fan.

  • There is no way Moss is better than Rice. And Largent should be at least 3rd

  • #1 Rice #2 Irvin #3 Swan #4 Stallworth #5 Largent #6 Moss #7 Monk #8 Haze

    #9 Alworth #10 Owens

  • i hate this song, will someone please come up with something else, this stupid thing is on every video

  • i absolutely love randy moss man. hes my favorite player and idol but even as loving his as much as i do i got to say rice should be number one

  • Micheal Irvin, give me a break. He couldn't catch a pass unless he was breaking NFL policy using coke. so scatch him. Need to add Harold Carmicheal of the Eagles. He is as good as anyone on your list. Lynn Swan and John Stalworth you can add too.

  • flip that list in reverse and ya may have it #42 rules

  • BTW I am willing to bet you are a Pats fan right? Only a Pats or Moss fan would say he is better than Rice! You are how old as well? I saw Rice play in his prime and saw how great he was, some have been more physically gifted but none could run routes like that guy nor had the work ethic, he ran 5 miles a day for Gods sakes. Does Moss go over the middle and catch like Rice? I haven't seen it. Rice was the complete reciever, period.

  • @onblock7 dude, 5 miles a day is nothing I run cross country and track, we run way more than that.......my weekly long run is 11 miles and I ran 45-50 miles a week in the summer but now I'm down to 40 miles a week since we're in the season now and need to focus more on speed than endurance.....btw my best run this summer had to be 7 miles at 6:15 mile pace my best long run is when I ran 10.2 hilly miles at a 7:30 mile pace. Also I'm not feeling like argueing now, so adios

  • @Pandamatrix85 Thats great! I am glad you do that! How many recievers have that work ethic though? Not many. Did I say a day? I meant everyday in the offseason, when it's time to chill he did that on his own time. I bet most party the first part of their vacation and then try to get back in shape later.

I am not going to argue now or anytime like I said before, I just voiced my opinion which happens to be many peoples on Rice being the best ever! I bet Moss runs nothing a day lol.

  • @onblock7 thanks. Oh and thanks for telling me about that Rice thing, I didn't know that.

  • @Pandamatrix85 Moss is not the best leaper of all time Lynn Swan is. Lynn Swan is the most agile WR of all time.

  • @Pandamatrix85 Rice was played for the greatest system coach and QB of all time...Put Moss and Brady for 8 years...This be a different convo.

  • @onblock7 Right on, man. Jerry Rice's dad threw bricks at him so that he'd be able to grip ANY pass thrown his way. And Rice was more committed (1,500+ catches, 22,000+ yds, those didn't all come on sideline fly routes), unlike Mr. Moss, who's talented beyond belief, but won't come close to Rice's numbers in career catches, yards, or charitable donations.

  • @onblock7 haha i love radiers kid and i was there when tim brown and jerry porter were with rice but randy is better by along shot and he does do the work kid now days hes an ass but he is know for his hands and catching over any reciever and the name moss is now commonly use to say u caught over sumbody idiot

  • @1purp1kush LOL by a long shot! I mean Rice with the 9ers not with the Raiders later (WHO Moss was with too and he was not great there at all), Rice in his younger days had more of a work ethic and took the game seriously every play, something Moss NEVER DID or he would have been the best. Moss does the work? He got cut a few times last year, he is a known slacker and quits on plays BRO, thats known. Rice is the best of all times no doubt. Like I said Moss could have been but fell short.

  • LOL at Moss being better than Rice, Rice is the best reciever of all times! Come on man please!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Moss half asses it alot of times and takes plays off, Rice was 100% all the time and owns all NFL records, how is he not the best ever?

  • Jerry Rice has Super Bowl rings. Randy Moss does not.

  • steve lagent forever!!!!

  • stupid song in the beginning

  • T.O not on this list makes no sense if oing off of stats and dominance. fail list

  • How is Isaac Bruce not in the top 10 of all time? 1,024 receptions (5th all-time) for 15,208 yards (2nd all-time after only Jerry Rice)!! This list is a joke without Bruce.

  • @skidawg22 Bruce is severely slept on I agree, but it's not always about numbers as some on there are in a non pass happy era (Warfield etc.). I bet if they were in the pass happy era with the skillsets they had it would be a wrap! Bruce was rediculous though, def top ten to me of all times.

  • THAT IS BULLSHIT!!! JERRY RICE IS SOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN RANDY MOSS!!!

  • BULLSHIT!!!

jerry rice is better than randy no matter what!!!

  • Largent has to be in the top 3, IMO. Had the best hands, besides Chris Carter, he had all the receiving records at his time, and he even played with a fairly bad offense, so it's not like he just succeeded because of the talent around him. Time Brown should be higher, too.

  • Rice is number 1. Yes, moss is faster and can jump higher but Rice has better hands and could school moss on route running. The best hands in ever in the NFL would be a group consisting of Rice, Harrison, Largent, and Carter. moss is 5th at best.

  • I will agree that Moss is good. But Rice is the best EVER 197 TouchDowns!! Moss is only at 135

  • Cris Carter needs to be put in the Hall of Fame already. dont ya think? he deserved to be there before emmit Smith did.

  • hey !!!!! randy moss blows and this is best of all tim he's not even retired yet and he shouldent be on this video jerry rice should be number 1

  • brown 8?

    got to be kidding me

  • Moss os not even the best on his team it is Welker and how many rings has Moss earned in his long career so far. Rice is clearly the best of all time, Moss is nery talented but i would not place him in the top 10, too many other more successful receivers than him.

  • when i watch moss he just looks so effortless and layed back and still kills it

my number one is don hutson just because he pioneered the position

  • harrison is way better than moss. Randy had god given height and speed that surpassed marvin's but marvin had better hands and is tied with jerry being the best route runner

  • umm chralie joiner isnt on their and no way moss is number one

  • Moss is great, but Lance Alworth is the best ever receiver hands down. He had the total package, speed, grace, hands and was a true professional in every sense of the word.

  • @easyscore heal yeah brother but honestly lance alworth number 3 jerry rice #2 and moss #1 even tho im a chargers fan im being honest.

  • @ChargersFanForLyfe You must be young to put Moss above the Greatest RECIEVER EVER!

  • Pandamatrix85

    Agree with you on Moss...

  • ok all u ppl need to know more moss is very good jerry rice played way more years thats y he has more #s wait till moss is done he will be one of the best in NFL TO is also pretty good and we all cant forget # 85 chad

  • hay jackass who made this video notice how jerry rice holds most of the reciving records in the nfl

  • moss is good but he's not #1 rice is. Also Lance Alworth needs to be higher.

  • moss? isnt that the same guy who needs a good QB to be good?

  • No, they guy who made 9/10 of the QBs he's played with look good. Aaron Brooks Daunte Culpepper Todd Bouman Brad Johnson Jeff George Randall Cunningham(out of retirement) Marcus Tuiasasopo Matt Cassell Great list of QBs there. Look at the bump in Brady's numbers after Moss' arrival as well, coincidence? Nope. If you don't think Moss is talented, and think he needs a QB to be good, you're a moron plain and simple. Like, so stupid he shouldn't be allowed to own a computer type of moron.
  • he made none of them look good.. wat happened wit the raiders? and he aitn the best plain and simple.. u obviusly no nothing u fukkin idiot

  • Wrong.

He averaged 1189 yards and 11 TDs per season before he got to the Pats. Even with the Raiders numbers.

He stopped trying with the Raiders, that's a fact. He's not the best receiver ever, I never said he was. He is the most talented ever, Jerry Rice is the greatest ever.

  • he stopped trying.. -_- , , ahha .. and those guiyz are the best now.. wait till calvin johnson gets a qb behind him

  • Way to contradict yourself.

Moss- "Isn't that the guy who needs a good QB to be good."

Johnson-"Wait till [he] gets a qb behind him."

And the rest of it just makes no sense, "those guiyz are the best now" wtf are you talking about? Only 2 of them are in the league right now.

  • this list is innacurate-but everone;s got opinoins--i like warfield and rice on here, everyone else subject to argument mabey irvin belongs on here l but,,,,charley taylor redskins swann and stallworth herman moore of lions drew pearson of cowboys old timers bobby mitchell redskins art monk redskins james lofton- only honorable mention? largent and bilitnekoff were honerable mention,, how bout tight end ozzie newsome and wes chandler of saints and chargers, mel gray of old st louis cards

  • no swann are u insane bro lol good list till u had randy moss in top 10 srry man

  • As wide receiver are often linked with great quarterbacks, no mention of John Unitas' favorite target! The non-controversy in the list is the ranking of the #1 cry baby: Michael Irwin by a landslide. Did you ever actually see him miss a catch without crying to the referee? Irwin began the downslide that is now the pointing fingers of receiving instead of, well, receiving. And it works! Just last night, MNF, that new wide-out for Jets wasn't touched when he dropped the ball in the endzone!

  • my favorite was lance alworth :]

  • Wow ur an idiot moss is not even close to rice how does it feel to be a schmuck

  • I agree with Moss being number 1. Rice had far superior quarterbacks, coaches, and systems around him his whole career. If Vikings-era Moss would have played with New England, I think he would have been capable of a 30 touchdown season. Think about it, Moss isn't as fast as he used to be, and 2007 was his first season with Brady and he still caught 23.

  • true but the year JR set the record he caught 22 in a 12 game season and I think it was his second year

  • Comment removed

  • the ability to catch a ball has nothing to do with the qb. again, if your frail azz is scared to get hit, or you have not disipline in route running, or you dont block, take off plays and etc... you can never be the g.o.a.t. period. I like moss, but hands down, he is NO Jerry Rice!

  • Comment removed

  • ever heard of Lynn Swann, John Stallworth, and Hines Ward!

and dont forget Larry Fitzgerald...even though he is young

  • OK, this guy is really stupid. Moss only out runs people on the fly. gerry caught them across the middle, outs, comebacks, flys and kicked all their asses. Quit smoking dust!

  • Plus, the gloves allow them more of an ability to make one-handed catches.

  • Anybody who has Jerry Rice behing Randy Moss on a top 10 WR list should be shot in the face. This kid is a fucking faggot.

  • Haha, I like the TO no hands part and its the truth.

I'd put Hutson 3 Carter 4 and honestly you have a decent arguement for moss at 1 but he needs to do it for longer. If you are talking tallent, he is the man.

Also, Sterling Sharpe needs to be honeable mention as well, if only based on tallent, that dude was a freak.

  • @nezy37 Sterling in his prime before getting hurt was just absolutely the best for a few years IMO! He was just rediculous.

  • i put derrick mason on the menton list becaues he was a really good

  • this list is bull rice is the best in the nfl he re wrote the record books he held all the receiving records at one point and rice had two hof QBS he had Russell and has Brady so dnt tlk about QBS this is a skill pos. rice is THE best even ask any football analist out there even the haters rice is the best

  • Man seriously. y u gotta always do that in the top 2. Rice is better then Moss and Montana is better then Brady. No questions asked.

  • Moss>Rice, Brady>Montana, the Moss/Rice debate is close but the Brady/Montana debate is no contest, Moss is more talented and a better athlete than Rice.

  • Uhh how bout not. Moss is good (im a vikes fan) but Rice is great. i dont give a shit about records. They mean nothing. all they say is that one person did better at one point in their career. Stats wise Rice did better. ask anyone that isnt a pats fan and even half the pats fans. Everyone knows that Montana/Rice is better then Brady/Moss

  • @grylam is that why brady/moss have the TD record for one season? im confused...

  • Comment removed

  • yes I'm a Pats fan, and Moss broke Rice's TD record in his first season with an above average or better QB(Tom Brady the future 1st ballot HOFer), Moss didn't even know the system in '07, Moss is a better athlete and more talented receiver than Rice, if Moss played as long as Rice and had HOF QBs as long as Rice and had 3 MVP QBs(Gannon, Montana, Young) he would kill his career stats in TDs and yards and would have more single season records, Moss is #1, any one who disagrees is ignorant

  • Moss scored 23 TDs in 16 games, Rice scored 22 in 12.

Moss sucked in Oakland, and wasn't able to stay healthy nearly as long as Rice. He's also nowhere near as multidimensional as Rice, he goes deep on most plays. He's only good when he's playing with QBs who can toss him accurate deep balls all day, hence why he was average in Oakland. BTW, it's stupid to compare their stats side by side cause they played their primes in different eras. Rice was more dominant hands down. 12 all pros.

  • The rules today benefit receivers more, and quarterback's completion percentages have also gone up. The fact that Rice has better stats than Moss through their first 11 seasons only goes to show how ahead of his time he was.

  • Moss had shit QBs his whole career(with the exception of Brady in '07), Moss scored 23 TDs in first year with a HOF QB and he didn't know the offense either so it's more impressive, Rice had HOF QBs for years and years and he never came close to getting 22 TDs again, and btw Moss isn't even in his prime anymore, if he had Brady when he was in his prime and if he knew the offense he would have more like 27+ TDs, Moss>Rice

  • Rice benefited from a system in San Fransisco(west coast offense) and 2 HOF QBs, believe it or not but Rice is overrated, just cause he's the career leader in the receiving stats doesn't mean anything(ex. Favre and Emmitt Smith are the career leaders in stats for their position but aren't even in the top 5 greatest of all-time), all it means is he played a long time and had great QBs

  • take away Rice's great QBs and give him the quality QBs Moss has had then his career stats wouldn't even be close to what they are, and btw Moss didn't play well in Oakland cause he didn't like the team or the organization, he quit on his team a lot cause he didn't like them, so the Oakland years don't count, and again Moss is a better athlete(in every way I can think of) and he's the best of all-time at making circus type catches, Rice isn't as talented as Moss, Moss=best athlete in NFL history

  • Once again, you're basing everything you say off stupid assumptions. Rice had to play 8 games in 1986 without Joe Montana because Montana was injured. In that period he had over 800 yards, 5 touchdowns, and 43 receptions. His success wasn't because of his QBs or the offense he played in. And yes, Moss's years in Oakland do count. It's hilarious how Moss dick riders always try to hide the fact that he was bad when he wasn't playing on a good team.

  • he didn't fit in well with that PIECE OF SHIT organazaition called Oakland cause he didn't like the organzation and quit on their sorry ass, he's had shitty QBs his whole career and then the one year he got a great QB even though he didn't know the offense he catches 23 TDs and has the best season ever by a receiver shows that he's the greatest, and btw football is pretty much my life so I think I know whgat I'm talking about, so I'm done argueing with you cause u aint gonna listen

  • Comment removed

  • hahahahahaha. Uhhmmm... ya his oakland years do count. Any REAL athlete would do his bestno matter what team he played for. Moss couldnt last bakk in those days. i dont care what u say and almost everyone in the entire world would agree with my when i say. Jerry Rice is the greatest Receiver to ever set foot on a football field.

  • @Pandamatrix85 Rice had 22 td's in a shortened season, they did not play all 16 games as replacements played a few! He got 22 TD's in how many games? I am sure it was not near 16! If there was 16 games that year Rice would have had 30 TD's or near it!

  • Moss was also just an average WR with Cassell. When Young was injured in 1995 i believe Rice had his best year in yards. Rice would be great with any QB.

  • Rice can never be #1 in my book because he had 2 HOF QBs when he was in his prime, also he played in a system(West Coast offense) where no one could be double covered or someone will end up wide open cause they're isn't any one to cover him, also back then when he played the passing mentality was more throw it deep than short so that's why his YPC was his in his early years, if Moss was in the West Coast offense with HOF QBs most of his career in the 80's and 90's he would have better stats

  • Rice made Young a Hall of Famer. Young was a bust until he came to SF. Moss wouldnt be able to handle the west coast offense. He is not as good as a blocker as Rice was. Rice did it all. He was a complete receiver. I doubt Moss would be able to succeed in the west coast offense. Moss is a vertical receiver. The west coast offense is a lot of slants and curls.

  • Moss has speed so he'd be great in it just cause you give it to him and watch him run, as for Young, I've never had the pleasure of watching game fim on him but he is the best all around QB of all-time cause he could scramble, he was accurate, he had a strong arm, he was clutch, and he won games, taking into account all the stats Young would be a HOFer with or without Rice, Can you give me a link for game film on Young? like highlights or something? so, yeah thanks

  • Moss could run but he cant really block to well. But besides that Moss is a beast. i will try to find you a video on young. But just to tell you he wasn't the most clutch QB. The Niners could of won a couple more Superbowl in the 90's if Young didn't choke. But i still love Young he is the man. He is easily the best overall QB. Young, Mcnabb, Mcnair are probably the best scrambling QB's

  • i agree that Mcnabb and Mcnair are probaly the best scrambling qb's suck what happend to mcnair

  • How bout not? u find every excuse to say these stupid patriots players are better. U say Brady is #1 cuz he had a shit receiving corps most of his career? well who did Montana have b4 Jerry Rice? nobody knows the single name of his old receivers.

  • how about Dwight Clark....he was pretty good

  • Dwight Clark was decent. he wasnt the best but he got the job done. u know waht. i like the fact that u stick by ur guns no matter what people say. u got my respect. i dont like who u have as #1 on any of ur lists but u use as much fact as u have to to show people u r right. u got my respect.

  • thanks

  • John Taylor.

  • @Pandamatrix85 Cunningham in his rookie year was shyt? I disagree.

  • @Pandamatrix85 Rice had 22 TD's in a strike shortened year to Break Mark Claytons Record of 18, how many games did he play that year 12? Do your research, in 16 games he gets 27 TD's or so easily.

  • @onblock7 that year Montana threw 31 TDs. That means 22 to Rice and 9 to the rest of the team. When Brady threw 50 TDs in '07 if he went to Moss to the endzone as much as Montana went to rice for the endzone that year Moss would have had 35 TDs. Rice's 22 TD season is just a product of Montana going to Rice to the endzone a lot and not spreading the ball around. If you've ever played Madden its easy to get 30-40 TDs with one receiver in a season if you don't spread the ball around.

  • @Pandamatrix85 Brady was pass happy that year, they passed alot more than the Niners did in the strike shortened year! You can't really compare decades as much because around the mid 90's even sorry recievers were catching 90 balls or so, ones that had no business catching that much! I don't see moss who half asses it half the time and has admitted to taking plays off is better than one like Rice! He is more talented yes, but Jerry's work ethic takes it.

  • @onblock7 Brady threw 576 passes that year, lots of qbs throw more passes than him(in recent seasons). But Brady spread the ball around(as I mentioned in the other post). If he favored Moss more he would have shattered the record instead of just narrowly beating it. Also, you even said he is better but you're defense is he's lazy. It doesn't matter, Moss is better and you even admitted it.

  • @Pandamatrix85 I said he had more talent, meaning he is faster and is a better athlete, but his work ethic and giving up on plays or games is SHYT! Rice even played in Seattle for Gods sakes! He gave it his 100% I am sure. It's like Kobe in the NBA or another guy who is physically as gifted or more athletic, are they better? Nope work ethic makes the player that much more than others, some have that killer instinct and some don't. BTW I never said Moss was a better player, believe that.

  • Loved your list until I got to #2 and #1. Dude you messed it up again! The fact you had to explain why Rice isn't #1 should tell you something.

  • Well, I think that Moss is better than Rice, I don't wanna argue about Moss and Rice ok, but thanks for complementing the rest of my list though.

  • Rice has 207 Total TD's

  • Yeah, but this list is purely receiving stats.

  • Actually 208, 197 receiving, 10 rushing and 1 fumble recovery for a TD.

  • Thanks for agreeing with me.

  • t.o. should be a top 10 thats all i have to say about that

  • I was thinkibg about putting him in, but I'd have to drop Michael Irvin from the list to do it, and a lot of people think Irvin's better so I sorta went with that.
