  • DJ = 2 RINGS

    LEBRON = 0

  • Thumbs up if you think DJ Mbenga will sign with the Heat, and give Lebron a ring.

  • loved that smirk by phil at 2:31

  • You notice when he shoots a jumper or floater it doesn't even bounce or roll it goes straight in.

  • He's actually a decent player. He could start on the Heat.

  • betta than luke walton, 6.5 mil per year, .04 pts a game np np

  • @92pacalypsee i forgot about him man. i think von wafer should be in there too

  • Hasnt every team Mbenga has played for, been successful

  • NBA All-Decade First Team:

    PG - Adam Morrison

    SG - James Jones

    SF - DJ Mbenga

    PF - Joel Anthony

    C - Kwame Brown

  • @kinston24fan Mbenga is a C not a SF

  • @kinston24fan Why the hell is scalabrine not in that lineup ? i mean if any one deserves to be in the all decade first team for his outstanding playing during the last decade, its white mamba !!

  • @kinston24fan what about PG - Anthony Carter SG - Adam Morrison SF - Brian Scalabrne PF - DJ Mbenga C - Eddy Curry and 6th man - Kwame Brown

    very good team.

  • @dbzgtforever THE REAL DREAM TEAM!

  • @dbzgtforever the nba isn't ready for that epic team i mean they would win so many championships wont even be funny

  • @dbzgtforever Very tall team.

  • your ashooter NNNNA.....

  • I like how whenever he takes a jump shot he has to shoot DOWN smh xD

  • Scalabrine for mvp. mbenga a close 2nd.

  • I have a new favorite player

  • why does everyone compare mbenga to scalabrine? mbenga got way more play time and he's actually a very decent bench player. the comparisons are just dumb!

  • shame lakers had to give up all their young players.... Farmar, Vujacic, Mbenga... how'd that work out...

  • the reason lamar hit him was cause he was mad that mbenga made it because of his fuck up and thought he should of gotin that layup

  • DJ Mbenga had a awesome night i am proud of him his number was called upon and he was ready to go

  • why Lakers didn't resign him and have Pau exhausted beginning of last season baffles me

  • @somerandomkrn ronny turriaf was big loss for the lakers in my opinion he woulda been a great bench player

  • look at shanaon browns crazy good D at 2:13

  • god every time i look at luke walton i wanna throw up hes a disgrace to white basketball lol

  • Tacos!

  • 0:40 NICE JOURNEY

  • @pesto801

    JOURNEY TO GETTING BLOCKED

  • Lol, I feel bad for Adam Morrison. He finally got a chance to play and DJ just took the ball from him. XD

  • heeey youuuuuu guyyyyyssss!!!!

  • at 0:40 look at the travel!

  • DJ Mbenga is so underrated

  • at 0:18 like if you thought Mbenga was Kobe

  • Songaila gets blocked !

  • should of kept those role players they made all the difference no matter there inefficencies farmer gave something so did mbenga powell and vujaic even thou he couldnt make much brought a certain flare to the game.

  • lol he has no neck

  • 0:40 travel?

  • only kwame brown is the worst player to wear a laker uniform

  • soo yeaa how long was he in the paint for

  • Comment removed

  • One thing i didnt understand with PHIL JACKSON was how he let KWAMEE Brown be a starter for years and MBENGA saw alot of games from the bench not even entering the game :S

  • @Sp2three Dude, years? Kwame got traded Memphies in 2008, while DJ got traded to Lakers in 2008. Lol.

  • @Sensational1393 Now i meant how PJ always let the bench play very little, For an ex Rookies last year hardly got the chance , Mbenga i loved his enthusiam to the game just sayin that he didnt play as much as he maybe could or deserved iam aware of PAU,Drew,LAmar beeing in there.. Just saying i wish we saw him play more cause he really is a special player..

  • @Sp2three Phil Jackson does have a reputation of giving playing time to all 12 players though. I remember that in one of his books (I think it was Sacred Hoops) he claimed that he always tries to find a role for every single player on the roster, so they would feel like a part of the team not some scrubs, who rarely get to play. I'm too lazy to look up stats, but I think that this mostly applies to his Bulls days as I also feel like he could have given more playing time to Powell and Mbenga.

  • @LamarMatic Yeah man that exactly how i feel we had a pretty good bench that wasnt getting used, As you i havent looked up the stats or anything just a gut feeling that thoose guys deserved to play more atleast during reg season. Thats why i cant wait to see how M.Brown will use ebanks, goudelouck, morris, caracter cause theese 4 player is what lakers need to invest time in they are young and good.

  • lakers shouldve kept him

  • CONGO CASH!!!

  • like :DD

  • Even he was not so productive on the court during the whole season, his teammates said he was great, the energy he brought was fantastic.

I wish he would play in LA to the end of his career. I miss him.

  • @tastycajun0381 Dude how can you not like to cheer for someone who tries hard all the time? Guys like him are paid the least in the league, and probably give the most effort consistently in practice, meetings and games out of nearly anyone else in the league.

When a superstar has work ethic and energy like that, they become dominant. It's very much the same thing.

  • 2:59 ---> Assist.

  • lamar threw the ball at him LOL

  • @aaronmaq41 Dj has a ring

  • Keep on pressing 9 and look at Phil Jackson Lol

  • can he be so shity that he was eliminated from belgium national team squad for the upcoming eurobasket???!!

  • @nick7greek it's because he was injured but he was by the tournament

    a proud belg

  • commentator 1 :"the ball hit the rim, it definatly hit the rim"

commentator 2: "but did it hit the rim though?"

  • + assist at 2:59

  • @tastycajun0381 Well 12th men pretty often become fan favourites, because they usually play with energy and seem to be those guys you just want to root for, since they get on the floor for a couple of minutes during blow-outs. You just want so that bench warmer would score some points. I guess they pretty often are some modest, likeable dudes as well. I think that Mbenga is a quality back-up center though.

  • @LamarMatic Reminded me of Sun Yue, everyone always wanted so badly for him to just hit a jumpshot. You could hear it in the crowd. Hardly ever happened, his form and release were decent, too.

  • | Mbenga = 2rings LeCHOKE =0! haha

  • dude he was a bench warmer and hes not bad

  • looks like monkey plays like a pro

  • This is NBA history right here.

  • LOL @ Lamar throwing the ball at DJ after he got the and 1

  • Haha press 9 repetitively and look at Phil Jackson

  • Seriously,I think Mbenge isn't even that bad.I really think so.

  • Best big 3 ever would be:

    Brian Scalabrine

    DJ Mbenga

    Luke Harangody

  • This guy could lead the league in blocks!

  • we should have kept Dj and let go of Bynum

  • HE HAS SECRET TALENTS XD I LIKE HIM MORE THAN SCALABRINE

  • Just imagine if Mbenga and Scalabrine were in the same team.. Hell would break lose!

  • hes a good player , but they must give him a chance to play. he would be better in the stats.

  • theo Ratlif > Mbenga

  • Mbenga is improving, just continue your career,

  • DJ MBENGA FUCKED AROUND AND GOT A DOUBLE DOUBLE

  • @kingdavid397 Fuck, yeah!!!

  • @kingdavid397 nice nice

  • @kingdavid397 Today was a good day :)

  • @kingdavid397 lol freakin niggas everyway like mj

  • kongo cash!... even when hes not even from there

  • @xdan87 He came as a refugee to Belgium, but he is originally from Congo. However, he does play for the Belgian national team. Congo-Belgium Cash just doesn't have the same ring to it...

  • 1:37 why lamar throw the ball at is but? lmao :P

  • @ki33phresh333 stole his rebound lmao

  • Tacos.

  • his future team

  • you could hear the crowd chant, "MVP! MVP! MVP!"

  • 0:47 getting his goaltend on

  • give Mbenga more minutes, and I honestly could see an All Defensive team.

  • i hate to be a hater, but i couldn't help but notice that he spent 10 seconds in the paint at a time.

  • 1:40 Lamar: Shit DJ, you almost cost me my 6th man award. *throws ball to DJ*

lol he's gone though when lamar won the award! :P

  • 1:40 Lamar: Shit DJ, you almost cost me my 6th man award. *throws ball to DJ*

  • I am so glad I was at this game.

  • dwight howard no rings

    dj mbenga 2 rings

  • lmao at 1:40. Odom just threw a ball at Mbenga

  • is that magic speaking?

  • He's not the best... But he is my favourtie player in the nba

  • He's a vacuum cleaner tonight lolololol

  • African Players blocks better..............

  • @abuevamonster just like serge ibaka

  • @abuevamonster not really seeing as Bogut lead the league in blocks and Andersen is the best per 36 minutes....

  • @Walnut8711 nuh, don't you recognize ---------Ibaka, Olajuwon, Bol, Mutombo?

  • @abuevamonster Bol was a just terrible player, could human being but a bad player. Mutombo and Olajuwon aren't even in the league anymore so that's entirely irrelevant. Ibaka is solid though, but like I said Bogut is still the best blocker at the moment. Plus with African players it's a 50-50 chance that they end up being a bust (Thabeet, Olwakandi).

  • @Walnut8711 I'd say Manute Bol was a pretty solid player. Of course with him on the floor his team basically played 4 on 5 on offense, however his defensive presence was huge. Definitely one of the greatest shot blockers of all time.

  • @Walnut8711 its not irrelevant when i said player.and even though you said manute bol is a terrible player he blocks man. look at the all time blocking list. Thabeet is a bust but he is a monster blocker during his college days. and by the way Olowakandi isnt in the league anymore, isnt that irrelevant?

  • The Hornets were so impressed by DJ, they just signed him.

  • That is straight up embarrissing

  • Nice Vid
