  • I always love to find another hidden gem...just when I thought I've seen every Sesame Street skit...

  • So the order of animals he imagines he is: Giraffe, Elephant, Mountain Goat, Peacock, Monkey, Zebra, Snake, Lion, then he imagines he himself is in a cage! Nice using your imagination, kid!

  • i use to wonder why his feet sounded like that....i was an overly curious child

  • Man, you don't realise how clever these cartoons are until you're older.

  • lol quite funny without sound, try it

  • I just did, since something is preventing my computer from having sound. I'd have to admit, it is funny that way.

  • ima..what?

  • Did you notice all those cages? The monkey one in particular looks pretty depressing. Seems to me that the kid is imagining what it would be like to be behind a cage.

  • Yeah I love it. The kid gets the right idea, and it's good to learn this early on:

    Zoos are Prison!

Animals didn't ask to be put there.

  • yes there was definitely some commentary in the end. it's a little vague and inconsistent, but i think it communicates in kid language effectively. i learned to read from sesame street. i guess i learned guilt and empathy too.

  • I like the sound of the reverb on his footsteps & when he says "Imagination" The out of sync foley is amusing also.

  • Use your imagination, guys!

  • My Lord! That kid sounds a bit like Mac from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends!

  • Imagination.......

  • It means imagination is limitless!! He didn't need animals to imagine anything~ at any time.

  • bizarre from the 70s i guess

  • Cute! But I guess he's wondering what his life would be like in captivity. Maybe I'm reading too much into it. After all, it IS Sesame Street.

  • guilty conscience?

  • I didn't quite understand the last one. Could you explain?

  • he couldn't completely imagine an absence

  • What's he getting at?! ;)
