I had it in pink and I like it but I really want a phone to text with because I got in 3 years ago and none of my friends had phone is I didn't get texting. I got a 3 year contract and in April but it is still going :| This weekend I am going to change contracts and hopefully get a new phone ! But I still love this phone <3 !!!

For someone that wants a stylish phone that they hardly ever use... this is the one to choose. Would not recommend for someone that texts often... keypad on mine was destroyed after only 2 months. Im ordering a razr2, maybe it will hold up better than the katana did

the buttons freeze up and the screen goes white for no reason

im actually trying to fix mine right now cuz the buttons are frozen

it works fine the first few months then it starts breaking piece by piece

@melodylat92 wat did u do to fix it??? I have the same problem, all the buttons dont work!!! only to turn it on it works, but after that, the buttons dont work no more... I can receive texts n Calls but i can't even see my texts to read them... Anyone wit the same problem??? The screen works, its not frozen or anything like that, its just the buttons, sumtime with that.

@cheerqueen1012 hey... no luck. my cell phone buttons never worked again. So I got a new phone. They where able to transfer all my contacts to the new. I still have the old non button working katana sitting there. I heard rumors that after a while of non using it, the buttons will start working again... ??? weird, i'll keep u posted if it does....

I miss mine soooo much. It was a good phone, I had no problems with it even though I'm a huge texter. I have the LG Rumor now as a replacement (I trashed my Katana...whoops). Getting the bbp 8130 soon though.

I have both A900 and Katana ,they both have their pros and cons. One pro of the A900 is that is has an MP3 player and a slightly better keypad, a con is that the A900's hinges feel lose and sounds like it could break when you flip it open. A pro on the Katana is that it has easier and more stable buttons and better design and a con is that it does not have an MP3 player and cannot upload pictures onto the computer
