I've been invited but I'm so scared of the responsibility of maintaining a GPA that I keep waiting. I think I have only 6 days left and I can't seem to get it together. I've never done community service or group things so this video is kinda making it worse :)

I don't hate PTK but at the same time I've eventually become indifferent about it.

What's so wonderful about PTK? I'm in it and eventually my enthusiasm has gone cold. I prefer going to Iraq or Afghanistan and coming back paranoid.

I don't understand we have this at my school and I have a 4.0 GPA and was never invited.....

Membership eligibility is based on the number of hours you have completed and your GPA, so just take more classes. You will be invited. :)

@JasonLikesCake You have to be taking at least 12 + hours in 100 level or higher courses per a quarter/ semester and maintain a 3.5 GPA throughout the year. Once you start spring quarter/ semester you will be mailed an invitation to join. Usually they're mailed in mid April.

@JasonLikesCake I also have a 4.0 GPA and was not invited...they said I was supposed to get an invite but my name was accidentally put into a pile of students who are in the Bachelor's Program which would make me ineligible. I had to keep emailing the advisor before they realized the problem. So find out the advisor contact and email them. Before you do ensure that you are enrolled in at least 12 credit hours or more and that you have already completed 15 credit hours at your college.

I was invited but i never went to the orientation nor did I fill out the application they sent me afterward...big mistake. There is a deadline if you don't sign up. DO NOT make the same mistake i made. I hope i get a second opportunity *sigh*
