I want one of these so bad- the isomorphic layout is inspiring, and having the tonal possibilities of strings (bends. vibrato, etc) puts this far ahead of other isomorphic instruments in my book. I've considered the possibility of using an ebow, or taking advantage of my skills from my main instrument (drums) and the repeated notes across adjacent strings to play fast, death metal-style rhythms. I love the technique presented in this video as well. I really want one of these. More vids please!
Congratulations on the pending harpejji! It is not hard to tune, but does take a little more time than a guitar because it has more stings. You will want to learn to stretch your strings before clamping them because this will help them stay in tune longer.
If you already have good independence of your left and right hands, I think the harpejji will be very easy to pick up. I am mostly learning through piano books.
Nice guitar-esque technique. I do this on my electric all the time, but there are a lot more possibilities on this baby.

@matthewcross Thanks! Check out Bill Burke for great examples of this kind of stuff.

No more or less likely to be used than a piano, guitar, or treadmill. Depends on the person. I gig with mine.

Great!
I'm waiting for my harpejji too that it's supposed to arrive in a couple of month...can I ask you a couple of question?
Is the hrpejji relatively easy to play for someone used to play keyboards?
Is it easy to grant?

Sweet! Is that sleeping dog on the chair the inspiration for this piece? Harpejii rocks.

Yes, and there is another sleeping dog on the floor. You can see his black tail.

Less than that, depending on what upgrades you choose. Give Tim and Jason a call. They are excellent guys.
