  • Great Gilmour, dude. Spot on.

  • one person doesn't like cheap pedals

  • 01:08

"This summer, the feel good movie of the year..." xDD

  • nice Gilmour'ing..

  • sorry guys, but this pedal is complete crap. sounds great but everyone seems to be having serious problems with it. mine worked for about 50 minutes, then it stopped working. if you wanna buy memory toy, then you should consider investing some more and buy memory boy, it seems to be designed way better. sorry ehx, but memory toy sucks big time.

  • @lookatthebluesky I don't know what you do to your pedals, but modern EHX pedals are built like a tank dude...

  • @jessemaes1990 it's all right now, read my own reply

  • @lookatthebluesky Change the battery. -_-

  • @gdrugg2006 it's all right now... the pedal is brilliant

  • @lookatthebluesky ok, that's really been a while... the pedal was broken and it was sent to an authorized service center and now it's just perfect... have never heard such a great delay for such an affordable price. i can even forgive it the issues i had at the very beginning. cheers

  • ..all in all its just another brick in the wall :P

  • would be nice to hear what it sounds like with good crunchy rock distortion and lead tones?? this demo is very good but how about some distortion.

  • @dewycatt2112 4:00 There you have the distortion.

  • cool guitar cords (skull and granate)

  • Looks like a great pedal, I notice the memory boy is only about £14 more.....does anyone think you get a lot more for your money for that little bit extra?

  • @Sixtyfivemiles Yes, true. But it seems you can find a used toy for a lot less than a used boy. That sounds nasty, sorry.

  • where the streets have no name- typical! (i love it really ;P)

  • this video is kind of convincing me to buy one..........

  • wow amazing one of the best delay pedals ive ever heard.

  • is this pedal good for playing solos/lead in metal?

  • What is the meaning for wet an dry? Can you explain thet for a stuiped german?! *Oh and sorry for my worst english*

  • @thomaslaubach

I think "wet" refers to the pedal's signal, and "dry" refers to the guitar's signal. You're not that stupid, dude. Most Americans can't even comprehend the meaning of humor.

  • do you think they sell these at guitar center?

  • These pedals are great, but it is practically mandatory to adjust the inner pot for the modulation, otherwise it is useless, mine sounds so good now i actually like the chorus now as much as the delay.

  • @mediawasteland does it have an internal pot???

  • does the memory toy has a volume drop when the blend knob is at 12 0 clock, just like the #1 echo?

im planning to get a memory toy if it doesnt have the same volume drop as the # echo

    thanks

  • the cables are the best thing in the demo!!!

  • does this sound better than mxr carbon? i think it does.

  • wtf.... those cables are awesome

  • I find it realy cool to turn the knobs while I'm playing XD!

  • The modulation gives me motion sickness.

  • I'm pretty clueless when it comes to guitar distortions and delays. But can someone explain to me what every single knob on there does to affect the sound? I see him plaing it and I can sort of make out what it does. But I'm not really sure. And how would you know the difference between a good delay and a bad delay? D:<

  • @xshatteredxjuvi The Delay knob controls the amount of time between the repeats of the sound (a lot of time when turned up, a little bit of time when turned down). The Feedback knob controls how many repeats (when turned up there will be a lot of repeats, and few repeats when turned down). The Blend knob blends in how much delay (a lot of delay when turned up, and a little bit of delay when turned down). The modulation switch controls of if the delay will change in pitch or not.

  • nice U2 and pink floyd samples, would luv to hear some limp bizkit type of delays...

  • This pedal and the MXR CC basically imitate the tape echo flutter with the mod. switches, so its close to the real thing without the tape hassles.

  • 5:10+

    Electro Harmonix Memory Toy Anal...

Thats what a got in the "recommended for you" section, hahaha!

  • Awesome jack...

  • Best delay pedal demo I've heard yet, I bet this video has sold hundreds of these pedals. Nice job.

  • why nobody in this demos talks about the major problem this pedal has?

it has a huge increase in volume. all models are like that...

any advice? I wish I knew some1 that could mod this

  • @TequeDiogo because they don't care... they just play good music.

  • love this pedal. great pedal, especially for the price. the modulation doesn't work very well but I don't think i'd use it even if it did.

  • I'm gonna buy this! My mind has changing in this or memory boy type... But this is the simple and best!

  • I just got this pedal and i cant complain. I mean ya, as previously stated, the mod doesn't work very well but it's not a deal breaker. this is basically an mxr carbon copy for a lot less cash.

  • true bypass right? :P

  • 4:30 rocket took off

  • its sad to believe but the toy is better than the boy...

  • id go with the carbon copy, since you can adjust the 'mod' internally. on this one it seems way to thick to be useful

  • good news man, you can adjust the mod depth level on this one also...I found it online.

  • Haha where did they get those wires? Theyre fantastic!!

  • Bullet Cable. Best. Cables. Ever.

  • very pink floyd at 3:00

  • not digging the chorus

  • this sounds like it kicks ass.

  • great demo!i like your granade cable!

  • Mxr carbon copy or Memory Toy?

  • @Morethanl1f3 the carbon copy sounds a little too dark imo.

  • It's hard to decide since both sound awesome. The carbon copy has more "magic" than the memory toy, but that little magic costs 70 bucks more haha So If you have the money buy the Carbon Copy, if not, the memory toy. Both are great choices.

  • @Morethanl1f3 the MXR Carbon Copy hands down. :)

  • great demo.

  • I've got one of these and I think it's a fantastic little pedal. With postage a packaging it cost me about £58. That's a bargin in my book, and it doesn't sound half bad either. I don't think it's a substitute for a Deluxe Memory Man (I have one of those too), but it certainly has it's own thing going on, and that's not a bad thing.

  • I just picked one of these up yesterday to be used as a slight echo on my lead channel of my Mesa Boogie. This is hands down the best delay pedal out there, IMHO.

  • u could have bought the memory boy for 100 dolas and it comes with the power adapter wich is nomaly almost 15 dolaz and the price difernce between the toy and the boy is only $20...

  • It comes with a 9v battery installed hahahahaha but i bought the dc adapter... good investment get the one spot kit from guitar center its 34 bucks and it powers like 9 pedals

  • agreed. it's awesome especially for how inexpensive it is.

  • @theGodSeat Did you put it before the amp or in the FX loop?

  • I put it ahead of the preamp. Sounds great. The mod switch also seems to give a little volume boost and when the delay is set to a low blend, gives a grainy kind of andy timmons chorus effect. love it... for the price, this is the best unit out there.

  • that power thing looks prety cool il chck it our i hate haven to burn through batteries, its expensive

  • nice cable! what brand is it?

  • Bullet.....i assume from the written text on it....besides "bullet' is a famoous brand.
