  • love the hair color

  • teacher is look hot.

  • @ration10 LoL, thanks?

  • hey! I work at aveda in germany...your hair looks great and yes..the tea is the best ;)

  • @germanGoofy Thanks! Germany? That's pretty cool!

I must admit I buy the tea far too often; maybe more than I buy actual product for my hair...

  • Do you know how they call the spiky thing on the back of your hair? I wanna get that type of haircut. Like the hairstyle of "Devil Jin" from TEKKEN 5.

    =^.^=

  • @comafrutasyverduras Well, it's a hybrid haircut that we've come up with over time, but it started out as a "concave gradation" in the back. If you try that it might work. The spike is just a style thing I do myself.

The best way to get what you want is to tell them, and take some photos with you. If you can't find any, let me know and I might have a photo of the back of my head.

But you could also just take images of Devil Jin. ;o)

  • Adorable! :)

  • @xwolbx Thank you!

  • I like your hair.it's pretty.^^

  • @TheEddokitty94 Thanks~!

  • How long to 'vacations' last? Like, if I planned to go to Japan in the future to live (hypothetically) and I wanted to go to America for holidays how would that work? It seems like it would cost alot to go back to America, back to Japan, and so on and so fourth. :D And I hope you're having a great time there!

  • Depends on who you work for. Most companies have five flexible days off a year. That includes sick days.

  • thanka for da reply...

  • Hey nice video..u live in tokyo ? i am a student waiting to come over there in some two months .love to take some advice and sstuff.....

  • Yep, but I tend not to give too much advice to avoid the risk of becoming the local help desk. ;o)

  • Next week, I'm going to see if I can find an Aveda hair salon here in the UK.

I haven't had my hair done in quite a while!

  • I'm sure there are at least a few. It's not cheap but it's really great for your hair. And I'm certain they have salons in London because it's a French company. ^_~

  • I'm so excited! :-p

Thankyou for your help. I wish my hair was as cool as yours.

  • LoL thanks. ^_~

It's one of those things that took me a few years to get the courage to do it but now that I have I love it. But don't fool yourself; I have to style it every day or it looks like complete poop...

Also... you may be interested in (triple w) (dot) aveda (dot) co (dot) uk

  • Ooh thankyou for the link. I'll take a looky!

    :-D

  • Hope it worked out for you. ^_^

  • Oh hey! Thanks! :)

    Ummm

My hsir looks ...OK lol. Not great! lol

I didn't go to an Aveda salon. Looking back I wish I did! lol.

The place I went...I didn't feel very comfortable and the salon ladies were talking over me. There was a woman with a very deep american accent lol. Very loud! :-p

The colour didn't turn out how I wanted lol. Was quite expensive too!

I would've been better off if I got a box of hair dye and a good friend to help me do it.

Oh well I will remember for next time!

  • I think she said she was from Tennessee!

  • Hey, Aveda is expensive; it's hard to fork over that money when you could go somewhere else. But I personally love the way my hair feels after I get it dyed there so I keep going back.

Be careful with boxed dyes...they have ammonia or peroxide in them to bleach your hair while depositing dyes and are rather harmful. If you decide to go that route try looking for natural dyes (and not "Naturistics" or whatever that brand is called).

  • Thanks. I'll try and remember that.

I did train for at least 2 years as a hairdresser lol.

Hated it as a job though. I loved it because it's a very sociable job. But it's very hard on the feet! Ouch lol

  • Okay, I'll keep my mouth shut then. ;-X

  • No you must never stop talking.

    I love your videos.

Sowwy if I came across as meh lol.

    *Gives you puppydog eyes*

  • LoL I only meant about this. You couldn't stop me from making videos if you tried.

  • Yay!

    Teehee :-p

How's Japan? You enjoying it over there?

I'd love to go there oneday! Looks such a cool place to visit!

    :)

  • It's pretty good. Been chilly lately, although we've had a warm few days this week.

Japan's good for a visit. To live here requires a special type of insanity. ^_~

  • LOL :-p

  • Trust me, not everything's cheap over here in England! lol

  • If you're replying to my comment below...I said nothing of the sort. What that means is England is more expensive, making Japan feel cheap by comparison. ^_~

  • Teehee :-p

  • ...

    That's what I thought.

  • England prices aren't that pricey. Unless you're shopping in London. Now that IS pricey.

    Ouch!

  • Then I meant London. Japan isn't always expensive, but Tokyo really is.

  • Sorry for the missunderstanding. :(

    I'm "blonde" :(

I wish I could go to Japan.

  • Misunderstandings are what the internet was built on. ^_~

Don't wish; that won't get you there. Do it if you want it.

Never been to England myself. Working on that.

  • Yay! :D

I don't mind swapping for a month or so!

    :-p

  • Long vacations like that don't really exist in Japan...

    But I'll remember that later.

  • Vacation?

    Ohhhhhh...holiday? :)

  • Time off.

  • Ah ok.

    *Hugs*

  • Nice hairct tbh,

Are you able to get haircare brands like Redken in japan? Cause Im going on a 10month exchange next year and i dont really wana have to change my routine.

  • You can get anything for a price. Unless you're from England everything's expensive here.

  • That's a very kawaii hair cut

  • Thankee!

  • Oh my God! Why does everyone have that hair style!?

  • A little rude, don't you think?

And I live in Japan; nobody does here.

  • i wasn't saying it looks bad. its popular and i see it a lot. writing is pretty free to interpretation so you see what you want to see.

  • Very few people precede a non-exceptionally-positive (read: neutral or negative) with "Oh my god" and mean it in a positive way. I read it like the grammar dictates. ^_~

  • Wow. I'm not going to look it up but if you're doing the same thing everyone else on youtube does, which is trying to sound smarter by making the person they're talking to look stupid, thats a pretty douche bagy of you. But hey, can't blame you for being just like everyone else.

(see, that was rude of me)

so hmm, I guess that leaves me open to an "i don't have to try to make you seem stupid" kind of comment. did i guess right? oh well, maybe i'm wrong.

  • "douche bagy"?

  • That would be silly. I'm replying to comments left on my videos. ^_~

  • Haha, I love your wit. nice one.

  • Thanks. Hope you enjoyed the video too. ^_~

  • Probably because it is the sexiest cut you can get! Looks great! How long was your hair?

  • Hahaha, thanks. ^_~

It's the same haircut I've had for a long time...it just grows out a bit and then I go back to get it done again. That was the first one I had in Japan, so it was an achievement.

  • Because, everyone wants to seem special but no ones brave enough to be unique. duh.

  • You've got me cravin for aveada tea now....great..-_-....

  • Funny thing is it's such a pain in the butt to brew that I don't drink it too often.

  • Nice! that look fits perfectly with your nice glasses!

  • Well, the point wasn't to fit with my glasses. But thanks. ^_~

  • Very nice and love you're hair XD

  • Thanks!!! ^_^

  • Looks Great!! Like the look with your new glasses!

  • Thankee. ^_^

  • Soo nice to see you agein !

And love the hair - I wich hair like that could fit me but id look like a boy sadly .. (-.-)

knitting is realy something you are good at ,

I realy suck it always too loose in one part and too tight somewhere else Hahah ! x'D

And love the yarn - It allmost looks like a pair of gloves i have eksept they are 1oo% baby pink (They suck btw - Not realy warm haha) ;D

  • Never know until you try it. My hair used to be all the way down to my butt. Until college I'd never had short hair. Now even though I miss having long hair sometimes I love love love it!

Though admittedly if I ever get married I'll grow it out.

I always wanted to try something like a mohawk or shaving my head but only girls with really feminine and pretty faces can get away with it and not look silly. It'd be fun to try sometime though!

  • I have had short hair before ,

And trust me it was not pretty ! (+.+)

A mohawk would be awesome ,

But as you say only girls with faminine pretty faces could were it and look super ..

Heheh - I realy want to see it if you get it done , Some you gotta make a video if you do so . x'D

  • If I ever get a mohawk, or even a faux hawk, you bet it'll be on the internets. ^_~

  • Congrats on the haircut! I pay $10 for mine. Aren't you jealous?! Just kidding ;-) Actually others pay more at the same place, but my 'stylist', if you can call it that, feels bad charging me that much because it only takes 5-10 minutes, so she only charges me $10. I return the favor by going every 3 weeks... but no complaints here!

  • What do you do, get a buzz? That's the only haircut I give that takes less than ten minutes...

  • Well, part of it buzzed, yes... sides and back, but scissors on top, although since I go often, top doesn't need to be cut every time. I'd say usually 10-15 minutes tops. If my haircuts were that expensive, I'd probably have to resort to a Vin Diesel do (although I imagine that to be a really sad look on me) lol

  • Guess I could've just looked at your videos/images. XD

  • Yup :) Btw - I think it's really cool that you reply to all or most of your comments. Really adds a personal touch, and I appreciate that, as I'm sure others do.

  • Funny, someone told me I talk too much... and that I should just leave it alone. ^_^;

  • In the words of Stephanie Tanner - how rude! Don't pay attention to silly comments like that. All of us are here because we want to reach out to people in one way or another, but no one is forced to watch or read if they don't want to. Keep on YouTubin' :)

  • Notice I'm still replying to everyone. ^_~

  • That's what I'm talkin' about!

  • ;-P

  • YouTube is basically about connecting people without having to take responsibility for yourself or what you say... sooo... PenisPenisPenisPenis

  • I'm sorry $200 (or $140 with the discount) for a haircut is ridiculous. The most I've ever spent on a haircut was $25. I don't even think there is anything someone could do to my hair that could warrant that much money. Maybe some sort of mechanized sculpture but I'm not patient enough to sit in a chair for that long. OK, ending rant now.

  • $110, actually, and that's about the same as I'd pay in the US. This is a salon, not Fantastic Sam's. I got two color processes and a cut. It's more like a spa than just a place to lop off a length of hair.

In the US it would take from 9am until about 2 because I'd go to a school and the students are slower. Here it was 10-1 and I got hand, shoulder and scalp massages, calming tea, and other goodies the whole time. Plus, the products from the cheap places aren't usually very good for your hair.

  • Hi Spryte Sama! Your Mexican fan DoXoR's here XD. nice to see you again. nice haircut, looks great. well, what can i say? i moved to another state after losing my job, and i'm hoping to find something here hehe. well, that's all for now. hope to see you sometime soon. =) Greetings and again: Great haircut ^-^

  • Oh no! Good luck on the job search!

    Thanks on the haircut! ^_^

  • i'm jealous...i don't color my hair but i love getting my hair washed by somebody else. i go to just get my hair done sometimes when im too lazy to wash my own hair but that can get expensive.

  • I love showering, so I can't understand being too lazy to wash your own hair. Maybe it's just me. XD

  • I guess Avedas are everywhere. Ya the pre-wash oil massage is my favourite...how do they do it during the wash? That seems strange. Did they took forever to wash you...that's what I remember the most from Japan but it was a nice place. I like the spike part in the back too.

  • Didn't take forever that I noticed; they washed and conditioned twice each, which is identical to how it's been done for me in the US. I also have to get washed multiple times because of the multiple processes.

Thanks. I like the vertical in the back too. ^_^

  • Hair looks great...I once got a haircut in Japan and it was totally different than home...did they put a towel on your face when washing your hair and everything...and they take like a half hour to shampoo and condition. Relaxing though.

  • Thanks! Actually, it was almost exactly the same as in the US, because I went to an Aveda salon. The only differences were that I also got a hand towel with my tea...and nobody spoke English.

Also, the shampoo room was awesome! It was painted all black and had LEDs in the ceiling like constellations. Since I wore glasses today instead of contacts I was blind though so I'm not entirely sure. They also used the massage oil during the shampoo instead of during the pre-cut scalp massage. Odd.
