i have a question, do you bring the string from your neck or hold it just with your hand? i have to say, you are amazing! i have been asking people to teach me how to knit and they are all so terrible at teaching. then i started seaching for tutotrials online, and people talk a lot and do everything so fast and repeat only 2wice or so.. but you are just so good at teaching with being slow and so repetitive! also great idea to type instead of talk the instructions. love!
thank you for all your videos they have been really helpful. but i need your help with interpreting a knitting phrase. am making a vest and am stuck because i dont understand these phrase(Shape shoulders: Cast off 8 (10-13-16-19) sts beg next 4 rows. Leave rem 31 (37-39-41-43) sts on a st holder), i would really appreciate your help
You would cast off the # of stiches for your size at the beginning of your row, knit the next row (in pattern if you are doing stockinet stich or garter), then cast off the # of stitches for your size at the beginning of the next row, then knit the next row. So this means that you will be casting off the # of stitches for your size on the same side every other row a total of 4 times. Then place the remaining stitches on a stitch holder or spare needle. Send a message my way if you need help.
I love your videos! Me and my mom knit. She said that she likes your videos THE BEST because it is confusing when people talk, but it is VERY smart that you type the words at the bottom it is VERY helpful! Thanks you are the best! You are the 1st to teach us how to knit. Thanks for all your hard work!!
Thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate it. I knew there were plenty of "speaking" videos out there, but many people that watch these don't understand English very well. It just seemed to make sense to focus more on the demonstration part of it. Tell your mom thank you and hello from CyberSeams :)
Your video is very helpful. Thank you! I am a bit confused about left handed and right handed knitting. Are you left handed? Thanks Again.

I wish, I could learn this. -_-
I dont even have the slightest idea what stick i'm gonna use. is that even a stick? maybe i could use chopsticks? :)) okay i'm being an idiot here.
