OR, you can download an emulator, the BIOS files, the game iso and either illegally download a screen recorder or just use an evaluation version that watermarks the videos.

Those skeletons wouldn't have been able to drag Scorpion into the lava had it not been for Kung Lao so in a realistic sense, Kung Lao was responsible for Scorpion's death here. Shaolin Monks is non-canon anyway so regardless of what happens in the game, it doesn't count. Like the movie, Scorpion was a servant of evil in this game and died at the hands of an earthrealm warrior (ie Johnny Cage and Kung Lao) but like I said, it's not part of the official MK canon.

There's still plenty of canonical MK games out there (MK1-4, Sub Zero Mythologies, Special Forces, Deadly Alliance, Deception, and Armageddon). Shaolin Monks can't be canon seeing as almost the entire cast of characters are killed in the game when most of them are alive in later installments (Scorpion, Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung, Baraka, Reptile, Jade, and Goro all die in Shaolin Monks). I love MK vs DC Universe but the idea of the game being part of the official storyline is ridiculous.

In each MK game there's loads of killing. All characters die, depending on which character you use.

In the normal MK games there's dozens of endings for characters that aren't canon, so basically NONE of the games are 100% canon, and that is a good thing. Leaves a lot more for fans to ponder AND it's more fun when favourite characters can be killed off and still return in the next installment.

Not being 100% canon each of the MK games are fun AND still contribute to the ongoing story.

I'm referring to the storylines in the games that are considered canon by the creators. For example, Liu Kang defeated both Goro and Shang Tsung to win the tournament in the the first game so any of the other outcomes never happened canonically. In each game, only one ending is canon while the rest are just alternate takes on what could have been. I honestly don't care that much about what's canon or not, it doesn't affect the games in any way.
