I suppose spinning around like that is another new feature on these reimagined battlestars to repel enemyfirepower-along with phasers. OMG! Just use the original Glen Larson/John Dykstra/Andrew Probert design. At least it looks as though it would be an honest fight.

@Idazmi7 Han Solo does NOT prove that, remember that his ship is on the same lines of technology and works with the energy requirements of THAT universe. The Millenium Falcon could take a shot or two from an ISD but that's because it's also ultra strong. So... What evidence do you have to support the idea that the ISD would lose? In terms of firepower. I've looked up data on battlestars but there seems to be very little to none in the way of energy calculations.

@tarkinfish Twenty or thirty, actually. The Falcon is said to be exeptionally fast, not sturdy. Even if it is, how in heck can ANY modified, outdated freighter survive even one hit? Surely the Empirecan do better. Judging by that logic, the Falcon is tougher than the Invisible Hand!

@Idazmi7 I'm sorry to keep calling the Asteroid hand but they are the key to all of this. Think about this: moments before and after, massive Asteroids are being almost instantaneously vaporised by shots from the Imperial Star Destroyer in pursuit. A shot hits the Falcon and merely knocks an external fitting off? This to me is proof that the Falcon and therefore other ships in the SW uni are strong. The shot may have skimmed though and not exerted its energy into the mainstay of the ship,
