hey I got a 93 cbr 1000f and when I let it warm up then idle it to the right rpm, it will stay on, but when I go to ride it, the motor will race real high in between gears. The only way it will change gears smoothly if I idle it back down (BUT)-- it will aventually cut off when I do.. I am wondering, if I am turning the wrong thumb screw on the side of my carb, because I notice that you are turning something in a totally diffrent location. Please help me out, brake it down for me thanks..
Hey Mark, You did a fantastic job on both the video and the bike resuscitation. The bike looks great and runs awesome! The riding in NH is fantasitic compared to Fl. Great roads, switch backs and elevation changes. Makes you feel like your riding in the Isle of Mann. Again thanks so much bringing her back to life. You did a great job and I'd recommend your services to anyone who wants a passionate and knowledgable mechanic to take care of their bike. Thanks again, Rich
@lucaslst Yes i can beleive that, it does seem that engines need to be started every day to keep the damp out and they start soo much better if you do.
Lets hope the next owner has a semi heated shed for the honda, well worth while.
Engines dont like the cold and damp, i dont blame em :-)
