The St.Louis brewery on this date threw a party for its workers on the brewery campus on a beautiful 80 degree day in recognition of the 1933 repeal of prohibition. This was salaried and union. A rarity in itself right there. Budweisers were handed out at will. Looking back on this day it's almost as if August Busch IV knew the end was near. In a mere seven months the Inbev deal was sealed.
