I'm trying to install Win98SE, but it keeps saying Setup is preparing to install Windows, and there's the flashing icon below that, but that's all it says. Does it take a long time for the first?

there it is! that is the generic product key for all versions of Windows 98 First and Second Editions. That key will allow you to install any version of Microsoft Windows 98. I suggest copy and paste that and save in notepad or something.... microsoft has released this key as they no longer support any versions of Windows 98. Nor do they sell it anymore. The only way you can retrieve a copy is if u download it..... well have fun!
Sorry, I guess i put the CD in too late. Recently when i installed 98 i put the cd in right as i saw the boot screen and it found all the the stuff it didn't find in the vid.
