This is just my opinion. Her management team probably might be thinking that Dragonball Evolution would be her ticket to international fame. But the movie sucks so hard, that having a sequel is unacceptable.

So much for the hopes of this movie. It all crashes down.

At least Transformers have a brighter future (it has a new cartoon series: Transformers Prime). I'm saving up my money now to watch Transformers 3!

She already had a fan base over here before this movie. I knew about this song before the movie when she released her album Sparkle on iTunes. She was already here thanks mainly to Inuyasha. Ayumi already sells a lot of her songs to American groups as well. she just prefers her native language because it is easier so its why she will never fully come over here.

I think people rag too much on film adaptions of games and other things too much for being different and not enough on the merit(or lack thereof) of the film itself. The changes and differences are what I admire about film adaptions.
