An excellent video and a worthy sequel to Art of the Saber! The lightsaber battles were good and the saber effects looked movie quality professional. The best part, of course, is the emotional story of friends dueling to the death. Nice twist at the end. This is part two of what I consider a "trilogy" of videos that all use the Gortoz a Ran song and share a common story.
btw this is kinda like G.I joe, not being racist , the azn guy was wearing white and he was bad, snake eyes was white and he was good and was wearing black. lols. jus saying dont get offended anyone, i really like this story and the fight =]

I love your adaptation to the original idea of the Ho Bros. film, this was truly a marvelous feature well done. Lame, I see that you couldn't find some good music to go with this vid so you had to rip off "Art of the Saber" and what the Fuck was the deal with the whole running seen? That took like 3 to 4 minutes of the clip and the whole gray scale seen trying to make it look like Kill Bill, that to was lame as hell. I tell you what, let me know what you guys come up with something better but I have the feeling that i'm going to be waiting for a while....

Great video, but why and how did the white dressed guy disapear in the woods? And if the fighters was supposed to be brothers, you didn't really use the right actors. plus the choreography wasn't the best i've seen. but it's a good movie! keep on making good ones!
This is definitely the BEST lightsaber fight video I've ever seen. as for the glitches, maybe I'm not trained enough to notice, but i didnt see any. as for the content, its a beautifully written story and executed well. very good ending, I think.

George Lucas should be ashamed...I know you guys said it's not related to 'Star Wars' but you put something in your amazing film that was totally lacking form Lucas's three prequel films...HEART! There was a lot of running. You'd figure he'd needed a breather before he fought again. Asian dude was standing there for like 2 minutes, before the other guy came up. I woulda been like "Damn dawg, you been chillin, let me catch my breath!"
A Fantastic short movie.. The acting is good, the fight scenes are good, the camera work is good and the special effects are good.. The only negative thing I can say about this film in my personal opinion is that it goes on a tad too long.. Maybe cutting some less important scenes out would have helped to build up more tension and suspense - but either way, still well worthy of a five star rating.. :D :)
Loved how they tied unarmed combat in it a bit. I bet he felt a dick in the end...knowing his old friend turned his blade away cause he couldn't kill him... lol. When it went to b&w it almost reminded me of that scene from Ninja Gaiden the very first one...with the black and red ninja? I think that's what it was.. never mind...
That monologue at the begining was amazingly poetic and it gave me chills. Amazing! Grand. I heard the first song used in Art of the Saber and that kind of made it sad. It was the same basic set up. One blade against a double. It fit well with the story though. Touching. love the martial arts though. Better than running for the sabers. Amazing ending.
That was actually amazingly good. Like I guess the ending made it noteable. I will say both of them had a decent handle on martial arts but it seemed kind of uneccassary to me. All in all, nicely done. Kudos on the sword play the running was a bit excessive, the only thing that seemed kind of old was the song that you played. Mid-end fight. Art of the Saber had it too and I heard it with theirs before yours. So my fault really but yah. Nice play.
Something like this really happened with me once, my best friend who i didn't see for a year joined a gang and I faught him to bring him home,the hardest thing i ever did and i will prove everyone who doubts me wrong!
That's because versions of the theme were not released with the OVA of Naruto (or Shippuuden, though I think this song DOES play in Shippuuden) and there's also the fact that many people have done piano compositions of Hokage's Funeral.
Good film, good work, but I was dissatisfied because of the adaptation. The Ho Brother's film was incredible. Would have been better if the both of you died together.
That was some great editing, it was really well done, too bad you didn't have more time to work on it like you said on the description. It was still really good though.

I cried to and believe me or not, there are very few movies that make me cry and this one is at the top of the list. To correct you though, the song was actually "Hokage's Funeral" by Toshiro Masuda. Still, you're right, the song is very moving. I'm in production of a vid that has "Sadness and Sorrow" in it. SO when it's up, come check it out.

That was really good. The ending was extremely well thought out. The sensing of the future, but avoiding destiny was a brilliant feature.
The mixture of music, story, setting, and of course, the lightsaber, was perfect.
It was highly worth watching, and I might also be inspired to make a lightsaber movie from this film...

That monologue at the begining was amazingly poetic and it gave me chills. Amazing! Grand. I heard the first song used in Art of the Saber and that kind of made it sad. It was the same basic set up. One blade against a double. It fit well with the story though. Touching. love the martial arts though. Better than running for the sabers. Amazing ending.

That was actually amazingly good. Like I guess the ending made it noteable. I will say both of them had a decent handle on martial arts but it seemed kind of uneccassary to me. All in all, nicely done. Kudos on the sword play the running was a bit excessive, the only thing that seemed kind of old was the song that you played. Mid-end fight. Art of the Saber had it too and I heard it with theirs before yours. So my fault really but yah. Nice play.

That's because versions of the theme were not released with the OVA of Naruto (or Shippuuden, though I think this song DOES play in Shippuuden) and there's also the fact that many people have done piano compositions of Hokage's Funeral.
Good film, good work, but I was dissatisfied because of the adaptation. The Ho Brother's film was incredible. Would have been better if the both of you died together.

(my profile is SpiderSeal.. and dont believe the age, im only 17) mostly because of that he saw that he would kill him, but couldn't do it anyway.. and then, im a huge fan of Naruto so when Sadness And Sorrow started..so.. I cried to and believe me or not, there are very few movies that make me cry and this one is at the top of the list. To correct you though, the song was actually "Hokage's Funeral" by Toshiro Masuda. Still, you're right, the song is very moving. I'm in production of a vid that has "Sadness and Sorrow" in it. SO when it's up, come check it out.
