@Intens1tyify Because many of the so called Palestinians actually have Jewish and Samaritan ancestry, I think the best way for peace is for both Jews and Arabs to stop accepting Western money, weapons, and influence and go back to the ancient ways of the Middle East. If that were to happen, then eventually there would be peace.

@cf182 Yes, the Romans occupying region led to the other foreign occupations. Palestine was derived from Philistinim and Philistinim means invaders. The various parts of the world shouts support for a whole bunch of stuff, and then changes and shouts support for something different when the winds change. You are right Europe has been a part of the problem. That is why American, European, and Russion money and weapons should not be in the Middle East.

@erdemsevgili If the Ottomans feel that they have a valid claim to the region, then they should make it. So that means that Lebonon, parts of Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Iraq, etc. should accept the claims of the Ottomans. Yet, because the Ottomans were originally Turkish their claim would not help them much. You are right, lost is lost. So since the Arab nations lost against Israel in the 40's, 60's, and 70's they should give up.

You excuse it by bringing up some thousands of years history that says this was once ours so we now claim it? Guess what, it was something else before it was Israel as well. @sdawson222 Not really, if a group prior to Yisrael has a claim then they should make it. The Phillestines were foreign invaders, and the land was purchased by Avraham ben Terach from the Kanaanim. The Kanaanim no longer exist. Every country in the Middle East was something else before they became Arab or Islamic, so the same applies ALLL OVER THE WORLD. Besides it was Jews who fought to free the land from foreign occupation. So your arguement is mute.

@sdawson222 Because the Romans were a superior force, at that time, and the Jews in the region were not able to defend it, it doesn't matter how they felt. When Jews pushed out the British, they were kicking out a foreign controlling power. This is how the modern state of Israel was established. By resting the area away from a foreign occupier, which the British were like the Ottomans before them. The foreign occupation goes back 2000 years, and Jews have been here the entire time.
