well in the novel she was 16... and phantom was like 35-39 ish i cnt remember exactly. i thought the same that she was around that age but when i decided to reseach i found on many websites that she was 16 even in teh poto novel that i read two years ago.
Actually, in the book, the Phantom is much older. His exact age is never really stated, but Phan speculation ages him anywhere from his late 40s to his early 60s. :)

I mean, even her name is Kristin... *shakes head* nice attempt, but it's no good at all, from what I've seen of this trailer.
The woman who says 'I'm an expert on Gaston Leroux' and the woman who says 'The truth will haunt your dreams forever' kinda... could've delivered those lines better. And there does seem to be a bit of an age gap between 'Raymond' and 'Kristin'... the girl from your other videos who played Christine was quite good, but perhaps she was a bit too young. 'Eric' was very good, though, and I like the camera work.
By the way, I freaking love that dolly shot in the library, is that the Lawrence Public Library? Also, I've been to that graveyard, and I have wanted to shoot films there sooo bad.

hey that looks pretty good. I agree, the audio is very inconsistent. good music score though. The trailer is very long and doesnt go anywhere quick enough. Shots are creative, good lighting (sometimes a little inconsistent and looks a little "set up"). But, overall, this looks way better than what most people are doing with lower budget films. keep it up!
JWoosley, I liked the origional plot idea better, but this looks pretty decent too. Don't forget, Leroux had mention in the afterwards of the novel that they had supposedly found Erik's skeleton and that he had "prayed over these remains". ^_^ If you don't remember that, I will go psycho phangirl on this movie XD just kidding.

Look fantastic John, I would say, find someone that knows more about audio cleanup. Audio is a bitch and it is also bringing down the quality a bit so if anything I could try to fix it up in Audition, it is worth the extra time. Otherwise it looks great. How far are you guys, what percent finished are you?

I think the curly-haired kid is supposed to be the modern version of Raoul. Which makes for a bit of an odd age gap between the characters.
