@sethburgess it probably could have been the record wind chill, in antarctica the record was -140 degrees actual temp, but the wind was still. this place is normally below zero anyway, and if 15mph winds can drop the temp 10 degrees, imagine what 234mph winds would do. it's absolutely some of the craziest, most mind boggling concept of why it happens, and how extreme the climate is there, everyday the wind is over 50, and some days it'll blow people off the ground
@sethburgess lol the wind cill average when the wind is 76.2mph is -28 wind chill, the average normal temp is between -2 and 5 everyday, so when it hit 234mph it made a wind chill of between -42 and -147. the first being with an actual temp of 5 degrees and the second being at -59, which was the record low at the time
@sethburgess -147 degrees is literally cold enough to turn the gas, carbon dioxide, into a solid chunk of dry ice, but the wind would probably blow away the gas before it would cool
@garrett6699 I definitely want to do the hike next time. I've been up Mount Washington by the Cog Railroad and the Auto Toll Rd. so now it's time to earn it!
Best thing in this vid is the Saab car you drive. Kudos! European cars rule!

Why do they consider this to be the place of the world record wind speed. An F5 tornado hits winds speeds over 300 mph
