A guy ran his towboat & barge aground in a farmer's field on a falling river.He called the office to ask what he should do & the port captain said"Take up farming.You're fired!".
6 months later,they were able to get the boat & barge back into the river and stop paying rent to the farmer.
i would tend to believe this is a tidal marsh, and was JUST covered in water and an inattentive skipper went over it at speed, dragging the bottom until he hung up, then the tide went out.
Hahahahaha. I have seen this more times than I can remember. Thats why I go scope out at high tide where the channel is. You should try it sometime or might wana invest in a map where that tells you where the channel is or better yet take it a little slower next time. lol I have even seen crabbers do this.
Boat went where captain drove it. Seems to be pretty irresponsible to me. Lucky some wasnt hurt. Id suggest a mite more attention to the facts at hand next time. Thanks for not posting music though.
either drunk or a stolen boat.... they were on the throtle through the marsh, i can't believe the props had enough 'traction' to keep pushing the boat.
