  • Sounds great with the glasspack. No rasp at all. How long is it? I have a 28" sitting next to me for my V6 Accord. I'm going to use it as a resonator as well and 2.5" piping for single outlet with HKS hi-po at the end.

  • That sounds BOSS bro!

  • sorry for the uber late responses...

this is just a point and shoot camera. good quality videos though... and the care is just I/H/E.

    This is w/o the silencer.

  • @joshnsteve

How do you take the silencer off this?

  • that w/ or wo/ silencer?

  • what else did you do to this car??

  • SHOOT SOUNDS WAY BETTER THAN THAT OTHER VID

  • What did you use to record?

  • Can you post a link to the resonator?

  • Can you post a link to the resonator?

  • Nice! :D

  • love the tone of the exhaust man, where did you get the resonator?

  • Comment removed

  • that was actually very nice!

  • oh man it sounds a shit ton BETTER! can never go wrong with a nice glass pack. i did the same

  • ahh so much better with the glasspack :)

  • Nice deep sound.

  • sounds much better with the resonator, good stuff

  • im lookin to get one of these for my first car, but what's the difference in all the different models like the sh and everything?

  • sh stands for sport handling. but it's also heavier, if you're not going to be doing track, you're better off not getting an sh

  • i think "SH" stand for "special handling"

  • @smitty3321 Base: pretty much says it all.

No leather, power everything, heated seats/mirrors. Base 195-200 hp VTEC engine (depending if you get lucky, you'll get a 200 one)

Type -SH (Sport Handling) Also called SE in later models.

has ATTS; the 4 wheel steering system. (Not recommended, their system has alot of issues) Same 200 hp VTEC engine. Leather interior, heated seats/mirrors, power everything.

  • @ehgoyy Depends on your market. USDM 5th Gens only came Base model or Type-SH. All Base models came with power everything, and optional auto-4(AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE) or 5 spd transmission. Things like leather, heated mirrors/seats, and the rear spoiler were optional. The USDM Type SH DID NOT COME with 4WS, and was not called the SE in later models. Again it started with power everything, although leather and heated seats/mirrors were options. The Type SH did have the rear spoiler, a different...

  • @ehgoyy ...style of rims(in the video Josh had Base "Blade" style rims), and painted side skirts.

  • @smitty3321

    Type-S (Only in Japan)

Leather interior with red stitching, type-s steering wheel with red stitching, power everything except no sunroof as opposed to previous models. 220 hp VTEC engine.

Those are some of the main differences that separates those models. Of course there are more in depth details, but you know, it can take forever.

PS: Leather is not really leather it's Carbon and Excene composite.

    Hope this helps :) Cheers

  • clean tone, very nice joshua

  • thanks man!

  • wow high quality camera much xD, and great vid man

  • hahah thanks... but i am still not sure whether u were serious about the camera...lol

  • ummm not that theyre stainless steel and you can see them when you open up the bonnet. I should say extractor not extractors sorry.

  • you mean the headers?! lol... if so... then they are the stock headers... as of now.

  • Yeah the headers hahaah damn stock header's and it sounds like that! Im definetly going to find an exhaust system like this one lol! Thank you for your help joshnsteve

  • hahah np...and its just josh...

my buddy and i made this account a while back...lol

  • haha lol sorry josh. Make some more videos tho :P lol I love the sound of prelude's vtecn and cruisin :P

  • where did u get the exhaust from and how much did it cost?

  • Damn I didn't realise you had a frikn video of your car!. She's nice I wish I had that exhaust on my Spec S :( . Im wondering would you know does it replace the whole exhaust system? From extractors onwards? Or do you keep the stock extractors on?

  • by extractors ... you mean catalytic converter? if so then yes.... the cat stays on. its a ti-c cat-back system ... and i had a cherry bomb resonator installed a few inches behind the cat.

  • hey curious what your entire set up is... what resonator did you get for it and also were did you order the exhaust from

  • ordered the exhaust from a legit ebay seller... but you can get them anywhere on the net. Then i bought a 26" cherrybomb glasspack resonator from summit racing. Then i have an ebay sri with k&n filter.

    hope that helps!!

  • wow

    i just came...

cant wait to start fixing up my BB6 :]

  • lol...thanks?! hahah jk

GL with your build in the future.

  • no vtech!

  • yeah...vtec...lol

  • Yo this system sounds killer dude!

Totally aces the Apex 1 i was just looking at... Im guessing price wise its either USD or EUP?? going off right hand drive?

    sorry im aussie hahaa :P

  • hahah ty.

Pricing is USD and it is left hand drive... because i live in the US. lol

  • damm. it has such a nice sound.

    how much money was it??

    i have a pearl white 99 prelude sh :)

    (completely stock for now lol)

  • haha the catback system was about 450-500 shipped. and the resonator was about 50. so anywhere in the ballpark of 500-550. :)

    Glad you like it though!
