i see, i apologize for my previous comment. Its just some of the past experience that i had. When i went to some high school in Hawaii. Many of the Hawaiian students were very racist toward not only white but Asians too(im asian). And they all acted really stupid in class.  But you always see them protesting about shit.

NCL ships had an EIS. In order to reach a deadline, The superferry contructors made it flimsy and weak. They COVERED IT UP when the people were inspecting it. Please read the Superferry Chronicles book, its very informative and it will make you know the TRUTH about the ferry.

i just got back from hawaii a little over a week ago. i used the superferry and loved it. other people didn't though- we had some twelve foot waves and people were throwing up all around me, lol. but when the water is calm it's a great ride, especially at night. the stars are beautiful.

i think its awesome that national geographic did a whole story on the superferry. if i were a mainland business company, i would look into moving my business to hawaii to use this new technology/efficiency. The difference is, the superferry needs and EIS because the law was made after the barges were in place which by the way, provide you with toilet paper. The superferry brings in passengers and their cars and the bar allows them to get totally hammered before getting on the roads on outer islands and placing the islands actual residence at risks.
