  • my friend got a horse after him! her name is dubayy :) imported from denmark, 2 year old mare..<3

  • wie kann der das aussitzen?! RESPEKT! :D

  • I have a gelding by this stallion, but he sure aint got his paces!

  • whawww!!!

  • Wahnsinns Pferd!

Den will man wohl haben ...

  • Don't think you should be allowed to use a dressage whip in competitions and shows... but that's just me...

  • @rutamor My horse has a lot of impulsion and spurs only complicate things. My whip works to direct his attention to ME. I never use it, however I carry it a lot. It would be nice to see a class offered at horse shows where no artificial aids are allowed. But this rider doesn't seem to be using the whip excessively. Nice horse, though!

  • @walk4trot2canter3 I was not complaning about the riders use of the whip in this competition, I just think that it should be limited to training. In competitions I don't think one should be allowed to use a whip or spurs. :) But I agree that it's a nice horse :)

  • Wow i LOVE how floaty his gaits are. I would buy a horse like him just to let loose and watch all day long. Haha i ride western but still. I love a flashy mover!

  • If this horse was weak in the hind and merely has flashy or "spanish" gaits, he would not have scored all the 9s and 10s that he has by some of the most highly qualified experts in the dressage world. Stop leaving amatuer comments about his quality when your looking at one of the most promising young stallions in the world!

  • Gives me goose bumps! So gorgeous.

  • Lots of WOW - but he doesn't look very relaxed? His gaits are more of the flashy type, like a PRE (Andalusian). Almost like he's more of a Haute Ecole type of horse, rather than a classical dressage horse? I don't know much about him - how does he score at shows?

  • @OverTheParadigm he is 5 years old its normal that he is not relaxed

  • He travels wide behind which is considered a weakness. I would look at his progeny and see if it carries before i would rule him out for breeding to my mare, especially if the mare has a strong hind end.

  • Wonderful suspension. Weak in the hind, though.

  • You must be an FEI judge?!?! This horse uses his hind end beautifully, especially his reach in the canter, maybe you should look again.

  • I did not say how weak he was. My trainer is a certified judge and was actually the one to point that out to me because I thought of breeding my mare to him one day. Maybe you should be questioning HER judgement.

  • hammer pferd !

  • freunde haben nen hengstfohlen von dem für das fohlen wurden denen fast 50.000schon geboten..richtig geiels fohlen

  • it looks like slow motion! haha, he i gorgeous! i want himmm [: lol

  • really a drool worthy stallion!

  • What a wonderful horse ♥♥♥

  • wow! :@ this is unvelivable! a real head turner

  • At the stables where I ride we have a Quaterback foal, a stallion. We should have had two, but one was born dead:(

  • this still makes me cry

    just

    amazing

  • Simplement fantastique!

  • hes so graceful to the point where it almost looks fake!

  • Quarterback? That is the greatest name!

    And he is absolutely stunning

  • My dream stallion! wonder how my swedish mare would like him...

  • ohmygod. he is stunning!

  • He's so friggen light on his feet!

    I want him!

    Hmm..

  • Traumpferd

  • wowie!!! so hansome! <3 <3 <3

  • I will take Quaterback next time to my mare, Wilma (D-Day - Martini - Orust)

  • He is so lovely!

  • where is he located?

  • Germany of course! I just bought a filly from Yancey Farms in Florida. She has semen for sale, FYI

  • i figured Germany.. they always have well bred horses...they dont mess around haha

thanks for the info by the way

Respekt. Immer wieder fazinierend ihn zu sehn

  • This is what quality is all about!!! I want him in my breeding program...

  • I have a colt by him...an almost exact model with the same funky blaze (just a little wider) and two hind stockings and a front sock. He is just amazing to watch in all gaits. I can't wait to see what he looks like all grown up! I LOVE this stallion and how he reproduces.

  • My mare just confirmed in foal to him today. Another was bred to him last week. The semen is super motile post thaw...can't wait till spring 2009!

  • HAMMA GÄNGE!! HAMMA PFERD!!! echt... schade, dass hier mich viele nicht verstehen (da viele hier englisch schreiben) aba echt... HAMMA!

  • Who is riding Quaterback in this video?

  • I think that's Christian Flamm

  • We're expecting a foal by him in 2009, out of a Donnerhall x Renoir I mare.. Can't wait!

  • hab den live gesehen und sogar angefasst:)

    sehr toll:)

  • Take a closer look at his walk. The horse has a bad a walk and it is never shown at stallion shows to trick the audience.

  • hello

can you tell me more about his walk? Does he pass it down to his foals?

  • This stallion does not have a bad walk. It's not perfect, no not at all, but you cannot call it bad! He scores a 7.63 for it, and yes, that could have been better, but it certainly is not bad! He also scored 9.25 for his trot and 9.75 for his canter. Of course, seen in comparisment with his canter and trot, it doesn't seem impressive. But it is almost a 8! An 8 is good! That cannot be disputed! Ps. it doesn't matter if they 'trick' the audience if he can't score the points!

  • OMG, that is one of the most amazing moving horses I have ever seen!!

  • Just PERFECT! I love the horse, really amazing.

  • What an amazing horse! Guess who is expecting a foal by him in May..? Lucky me!

  • you lucky bitch i want his foals lol good luck plz let us no what she has

  • Maybe one of the best horses I`ve ever seen!

  • Hi, Very Nice type. Well put together. Has many got mares in foal to him here in Australia, and or Hotline?? Sick of wasiting money on crap semen on other stallions.

Also has anybody used Quaterman?? Any good regards semen??

    Rating: QuaterBack.......8.5 out of 10 Hotline..........8.5 out of 10 QuaterMan........9.0 out of 10

  • It's like he touches the ground just for the fun of it - he's flying!

I'm diffinently going to use him on my mare if she goes through with the vet.

  • Im speechless.. this horse is just magic to watch!

  • Is Christian Flamm the rider ?

  • WOW!! He's amazing! awesome suspension!!!

    xoxo

  • I just bought 2 doses!!! Wanted him this year but he was sold out so I went with Hotline! Can't wait for a hopeful 2009 foal...(filly) by him. ;)

  • One of the finest horses of our time, I think...

  • This horse is simply amazing! Thanks for putting up this video!

My horse's going to have a Foal from him in 2010! Can't wait!

  • Wow! this horse has amazing reach! and he's so gorgeous! you can tell he really loves his job!
