The vestments that are being worn by the candidate are Biblical. Also the vestments that are commonly worn by those who are part of the Catholic and Anglican reformations are Biblical. The geneva gown or "pulpit robe" as it is called has no Biblical significance. That particular robe was never meant to be worn in the church but rather in academic settings.

Let's Clarify some things for EVERY BODY: The Word "Catholic" means UNIVERSAL. Therefore, when someone says Holy Catholic Church... The Educated (informed) Minister/Person would automatically know that the person speaking is referring to the Church-Universal. Yes these are very much Catholic Vestments.

Now the ROMAN CATHOLIC and ANGLICAN CATHOLIC Church so happen to share in the same vestments and does the PENTECOSTAL CATHOLIC Church. The Churches UNIVERSALLY share these vestments.

WHY are they wearing the vestments of the Roman Catholic and Anglican churches? Seems like a "discreet" affirmation of the Catholic claim to the only true priesthood by apostolic succession. Why not just become Catholic?

@deedx I think they are kind of baptists using liturgical vestments..but I doubt he is consecrated in Apostolic succession.
