the problem with organizations like that is they derive their conclusions first, and then find the evidence to "support" their claims. i volunteered in a PP facility for over a year, and i still lend a hand when i can, and i can honestly say that there is not a more caring or group of health professionals. they advise against abortion unless necessary or if the patient insists, and when they do the procedure it's safe and professional, and NOT like a scene cut from a eli roth film.

I think it is unfair for someone like Lila to lie and play pretend and deliberately go looking for trouble, then protray it as the norm. You find crooks everywhere, not just aobriton clinics. Also, 37% of Planned Parenthood's health center income comes directly from abortions. Logically more abortions are reported in states that have actual access to safe abortions, as opposed to states with no PP = no reported abortion procedures. You'd be lying through your teeth if you claimed that abortions don't happen everyday in those states anyway.

Are they only firing the ones caught on tape? The only thing PP cares about is that their employees had been CAUGHT breaking the law, and the bad press. the problem with organizations like that is they derive their conclusions first, and then find the evidence to "support" their claims. i volunteered in a PP facility for over a year, and i still lend a hand when i can, and i can honestly say that there is not a more caring or group of health professionals. they advise against abortion unless necessary or if the patient insists, and when they do the procedure it's safe and professional, and NOT like a scene cut from a eli roth film.

@jadedflake04 the 3% figure is misleading. That is from the number of proceedures that occur, but women who get abortions generally have several procedures. The true numbers are about 9% of PP clients get abortions and it accounts for about 1/3 of PPs income. It's all about the money...

Logically more abortions are reported in states that have actual access to safe abortions, as opposed to states with no PP = no reported abortion procedures. You'd be lying through your teeth if you claimed that abortions don't happen everyday in those states anyway.

Just because their profits come from that DOES NOT mean that it's most of what they do. While a high abortion rate can exist outside of Planned Parenthood being present, Planned Parenthood has not shown that they effectively reduce abortion in the areas they are in. Planned Parenthood performed over 100,000 more abortions last year than they did 10 years ago. Over that same period, the national total fell by over 100,000.

@sgassel so you can imagine how god must feel when we destroy a piece of the Amazon rainforest the size of France, & wipe out entire groups of species of plants and animals including indigenous human tribes, while also taking away our children's future source of oxygen.& as long as have largely animal based diets, drive cars, and use lumber/paper somewhere in our lives, its our fault. What is perhaps less discussed in the media is that about 30,000 children die of preventable causes every day due to malnutrition and poor access to medical care (worldwide) - another travesty against infants and young children. I believe the Bible is clear - preserve human life and steward resources wisely, the two are not mutually exclusive.

@laytf7 You really want to avoid discussing this. No shock there. The way to do a sting operation is to have someone like Lila, and then an older, fat, ugly woman, go to say an employment agency, with equal resumes, and compare the job offers they get.
These have been done from time to time, and I have done a few myself. Did some online in the 1990s. When you become that type of threat to men in power, you don't get famous, you get DEATH THREATS. I doubt Lila would have the courage.

If abortion were illegal, I would favor prosecuting women. We prosecute people who try to attempt or commit suicide and homicide and euthanasia. Some states even prosecute people for feticide, (which I think is a glaring double standard but that's another issue). Each of those crimes ends a human life.

The way Lila was dressed in that "home video" shown on CNN didn't look like anything resembling a Christian to me. The Bible says no premarital sex. As Lila is not married, and is supposedly a devout Christian, I would presume she is a virgin, and should have no difficulty saying this.

Lila does nothing except sway the weak-minded- she looks for the bad seeds, so to speak, and then exploits them as the vast majority. Sorry, but forcing a victim of sex abuse to give birth is NOT going to make things better- just destroy 2 lives instead of just one potential one. As a /victim/ of anti-abortion HATE, I know the difference between a life worth living, and not worth living. I also aborted at 14 and don't regret it. Spend 17 yrs the way I did- tell me how much of a 'gift' life is.

@ryddelwearsahat Let's see how some Pro-choice arguments sound when applied to your life: 1. Your mom should have aborted you if your first 17 years were so horrific. You wouldn't have had to suffer for so long. 2. If your life isn't worth living, end it. Do what's right in your own eyes.
I don't agree with either of these. I feel for your suffering, and consequent choice to abort. Life is a gift, but it's much harder to see that when you don't have Jesus; it's sad, empty and disappointing.

@laytf7 I've attempted suicide twice. I still have horrible depression and anxiety. I'd RATHER have been aborted before I could think or feel or wish I was dead, then grow up the way I did.
I USED to be a stain, but I dropped that like a hot potato after prayer got me nowhere- led to my abortion, led to CPS telling me I WASN'T being abused. Is staying alive worth sucking deal/dealing drugs, having abortion, ect? Please, enlighten me- or stay out of other people's lives.

To leftists abortion is a sacred cow that they defend at all costs, sugar coat what it is (surgery to kill a baby, and if you want to argue that it's not a baby, then a human organism ; you cannot argue against that) and deny, deny, deny the risks and complications of having one. They instead hide the risks and concerns, try to convince woman that it's safe and a breeze, and push, push, push them to have an abortion. Typical leftist's vehemently oppose war (killing), loathes hunters (killing animals), eating meat (cruel farm conditions, killing), and is anti-gun (killing tool), yet they vehemently support a "womans right to choose." Hmm. The worst part is they turn a blind eye and won't even admit that it's killing, and killing a baby, even though a lot of the times it looks like a baby at the time of the killing. The law is BS. She can't be prosecuted 'cause she didn't commit a crime? Like it makes a difference... she didn't know she wasn't 13... she would've done the same thing whether she really was 13 or not. As far as she knew, she was committing a crime. Prosecute the woman already. >.>
Of course the irony is... someone who doesn't know they're committing a crime probably wouldn't get off. I can't help thinking law misses the point completely.

Second, those nurses seem totally compassionate. How can you just blindside them like that? How exactly is it a law in Indiana that health care providers have to make police reports against the wishes of the patient?

What? There are tons of videos like this showing Planned Parenthood breaking laws left and right. Videos showing them lying about when a fetus has a heartbeat and trying very hard to avoid from saying the word 'baby', even correcting the woman when they say baby and coldly saying oh no, it's not a baby until it's born. They dehumanize what's growing inside of her...clearly wanting the money for the abortion procedure..all about their bottom-line, DIsgusting. Abortions should be non-profit.

@LiveActionFilms I bet the firings directly resulted from your exposure. Have they fired anyone who was not directly involved with one of your investigations? Are they only firing the ones caught on tape? The only thing PP cares about is that their employees had been CAUGHT breaking the law, and the bad press. I doubt they have changed their unofficial policies. There is nothing to hold them accountable. Mandatory random inspections might. I don't know how that could be instituted though.
