  • For all u retards that are dissing on mevundi, u better stop cause ill beat your fat asses

  • All of you retards who are dissing on mevundi better stop soon before i track you all down and beat your asses

  • for all the argument here, he sounds a lot like Abdul Karim Khan sahib himself in this video. not elsewhere on youtube though.

  • Does anyone know who composed this abhang?

  • @balachandra108

this Abhang is written by Sant Namdev.

  • waah.. jaytirth bhai kya baat hai. fantastic. very emotional.- prasad khaparde

  • @balachandra108 : Sant Namdeo Maharaj

  • Magnificent singing.....waah....truly blessed....!

  • I agree with maalatiji's comment on jayateerth mevundi he's style of performance is too far from kirana gharana....... Kirana Gharane ki jo shadj lagane ka tarikha hai aur swar par rukte nahi hai firat to badi baat nahi hai par paddhati ko thik se sikhana chahiye to be very clear presently he cannot be called as torch bearer of Kirana gharana............,

  • I am of the opinion, when you sing bhajan, bhav is most important and not the acrobatics. He has to still mature in terms of putting emotional content in singing..

  • I have listened to this so many times, I can't count. Wonderful devotion and spiritual singing.

  • and woman ..malati or whatever....go fly a kite.....go try and imitate bhimsen jee yourself if you have the guts. and then talk ....and dont try and say something smartass back. kapish.

  • he is amazing amazing AMAZING.....jayatheerth i hope you perform all over the world and in the grandeur that you deserve :)

  • According to me Jayateerth Mevundi is not imitating Pt.Bhimsen Joshi. He is a disciple of late Shripati Padiger, who was the senior most disciple of Bhimsenji. Naturally ,Kirana Gharana style of singing is transformed into his singing. you should understand that.

Now regarding, the most important part u have mentioned, I am to say that u should first learn the spelling of pronunciation correctly. It is not pranounciation (PRONUNCIATION).

  • he has learnt from pt. arjunsa nakodji and a little days from late padigaarji. ok? not like pt. madhav gudiji, or like any other students of ptji.he should change his style. it gets bored and looks like over naatak.

  • Abt.10 yrs. he learnt from Arjunsa Nakodji and then from 1994 onwards he has taken musical lessons under the able guidance of Padigarji till Padigarji;s death. If u r bored and feel like Naatak, don't listen to him. That is the end of it.

  • leave it. see its my openion that he imitates. but if you like you comment good. why r u saying to me? i say what i feel right. ok.....?

  • @maalati1 Listen to Kesarbai Kelkar and Kishori Amonkar. SHould we say that Kishori imitates Kesarbai ? NO ! it is a voice quality and when learing from masters, you do tend to sound like them some time .. If i talk that Sawai sounds like Abdula Kareem Khan, it is but natural

  • another young music missile Mr,Pt.Jayatheerth mevundi(no need to worry about classical music when people like mevundy are there in to this feild.

  • Beautiful.

  • Beautiful. Please tag it under Jayateerth Mevundi too

  • Thank u. In fact I have tagged it under Jayateerth Mevundi. I don't know why it is not posted under Jayateerth Mevundi. Hope it will be rectified.

  • Beautiful...truly spiritual...i just love the sincerity of Jayteerthji..I have met him twice in person. Such a simple man with extraordinary ability...its all part of his intense riyaz done for years.

  • beautiful. thank you

    thuryina
