I went to this religious community when I was 20 years old, and I saw everything bad they did - and at the same time, they say they are part of the Catholic Church. I remember how I was at the side of my brother as he died in the bed beside me. I had been with him for 5 days solid, I wouldnt leave his side for nothing and he was such a strong guy, I look up to him forever for the bravery he had, his my rolemodel. Well I was told that this song is about a little girl that the band was friends with, and they would go to the hospital to visit her, she wrote music of her own and sung, which is what you heard in the end. She died of a brain tumor...or something along those lines and the band used some lyrics from her songs and its about her, and the video is like a moment of silence for her. They couldn't even record the song in the same room together, they had to do it separately and piece it together after.

I love this song, not just for the great sound ect, ect. but about its message (to me at least). . . Bedside at someone dying and you both know, thats tough, but to know that there is nothing you can do about this person. But all they want is just to talk to someone, to you? thats intense, in a way that is how i feel when listening to this song. Helpless and sad? @Froxni I read it was a 4-5 year old girl who had a brain tumor. Apparently her mom was an OLP fan so they came to see her or something.

I love this song, not just for the great sound ect, ect. but about its message (to me at least). . . Bedside at someone dying and you both know, thats tough, but to know that there is nothing you can do about this person. But all they want is just to talk to someone, to you? thats intense, in a way that is how i feel when listening to this song. Helpless and sad? But I wouldn't be anywhere else for anything in the world.
I don't know i have been drinking a bit, but i felt the need to write this.
