I really enjoyed watch this series. Which is odd, as I've never even played D&D, but go figure I suppose. Anyway, will you be making another set? I'd really like to see another, these were very entertaining.
I enjoyed everyone's performance but Klause' and would penalize him by giving no exp to him for the adventure beyond the small amounts he received for immediate actions. He was a detriment to the overall adventure and to the playing of the others. Someone I would probably counsel if this were his regular behavior, if not dismiss from the group. Reminds of the know-it-all peeps you come across in WOW...Not a good role-player nor good person to invite to be in any party...
I've got to say, I have really enjoyed this so far. To be honest, I don't mind any swearing, and actually would like it if you didn't censor that out. Just my opinion there, though.
OMG That Schamus guy must be the best DnD player EVAR!!! LOL, this was a good adventure to be a part of. Esper runs a good night of gaming on a regular basis. I'm glad that everyone had a good time listening to the crazy stuff that happened during this adventure, we don't usually die so much (well, my chars do, but Schamus did well :) It was a neat experience being taped. Maybe we'll figure a way to add more visuals to give you guys a better show.
Wow this thing is awesome, do you know anyone else who does this sort of thing I know of Critical hits podcast and the Lord Kat games but does anyone know any others?
Esper, you have done a great job here with the storytelling. This final part with Shamus as the only survivor is quite memorable. I could see and feel everything in my head. I haven't experienced something like this for a long time.
You have inspired me, as a novice DM, to push my ongoing campaign forward, though I am in a tight spot right now. Keep up the good work! I really hope to see some more of this. :)
@Lonewolf1126 It is different, isn't it? Klause was twisted, as we all ended up finding out. It is difficult when a character basically becomes a villain, I cannot deny. Overall, the adventure was more about building setting, evoking mood, and supernatural horror, as opposed to a traditional "save the day" quest. I left a number of elements in the characters' hands, to do what they wanted and make their own judgments. Schamus didn't waltz out because was trapped in there by Klause.
oh man I had a big grin on my face when shamus lived the adventure the way he did (no spoilers). Wonder what you guys will do from this point bring shamus into the next formed party?
I will cry without a sequal with this same group. Super funny. Super great

@repsesper I feel that you limited dangers ahead after Schamus was left alone. Is that right?

@JSellers0922 Agreed. And yes, Schamus ended up being a cool guy. I would like to do something similar in the future (with improvements, of course).

I loved this ending :D

I was kind of perplexed by how this adventure turned out.
First of all, why was Klause trying so hard to sabotage the party?
Second, I was pretty surprised that the ultimate goal of the adventure ended up being a fool's errand.
And lastly, why didn't Schamus just walk up the stairs and waltz out of the tower? It was pretty darn cool how he got out of there though.

@repsesper Oh no! I didn't catch that Klause sealed him in. But thank you for the response, I really did enjoy following the adventure.
