I was there.... yes i can tell my grandkids (if I have any). It rained gently for much of the day. But what a day! The reception that Cliff and the Shadows got was as good as any of the other bands out of respect for his contribution to British music. They weren't just rock fans or pop fans they were all real music fans.. And that day we saw and heard the best of the bunch. The who's who of music. A Floyd were the icing on the cake...... wow!
I really wish Floyd would release a compilation dvd like Led Zeppelin's. I really liked this performance and yet you can't get it in its entirety. Shame. Come on David!!
This was the best performance of Numb from the Momentary Lapse/Delicate Sound period of Pink Floyd HANDS DOWN. Getting to see Nick bash his heart out on the drums at the end was great to see. David Gilmour playing like no tomorrow on his red Strat. Screw The Wall in Berlin with Hitler, I mean Waters, but this was a better show IMHO. RIP Rick Wright and God bless him.
I have this Album and i tell ya this is the most amazing version of Comfortably Numb i have every seen/heard. !@!111@!@$#*($&!*(&%$JHR*&@$ YRUHRDF ROCK ON PINK FLOYD!!!!!!!!!!!

gilmour looks a bit strage with his long wet hair in the rain and the rainjacket under his suit coat which makes him look to fat ^^
but the performance is surely one of the best, and the lightshow and the smoke in the storm are impressing!

Woooah! Martha Quinn at the end! I had such a crush on her back then.
Pink Floyd. There is only one.
Richard Wright will live forever.
Thank you.

@residualbill I agree with me from 1 year ago.
Also, she had more music knowledge than all of the last 15 years of MTV VJ's/"personalities" combined. (but do any of them know anything?)
Oh, how we miss the real MTV.
Talking about old MTV is like talking about the lost city of Atlantis. It was real, I tell ya, and it was magical, until it got washed up.
