  • Perfect!

  • 2 people are not fans of music

  • "could you hear me loud and clear?"

  • this is the most jizztastic song i've heard in a long time

  • im learning to play this (on guitar) its not to hard really

  • i've been waiting for an acoustic version of this song since SSTB came out. amazing. better than i imagined.

  • 5:10 > Sooo rich.

This is like the most genius performance of the 'send I've ever seen.

  • Amazing arrangement. Much different feel, almost like it's its own song.

  • is that at Neverender?

  • @TenSpeedOfJaysBlood Looks more like the "Evening With Coheed And Cambria" shows from 2005. Chicago maybe? That was the first show I ever went to. Best ever.

  • @TenSpeedOfJaysBlood Nope you can see Josh in the corner. Chris did the Neverender shows.

  • Claudio is absolutely adorable.

    -heterosexual male-

  • Claudio was about to rock out of his chair xDDD epic

  • OMG. at 4:59 i orgasmed. I was like.. Why the fuck they takin claudio's guitar! then he does that like slow "children in the floor.." omg. it's so amazing.

  • xmotoxstudx: "Every move he makes and word he speaks just spits emotional connection to the listener."

Couldn't have said it better myself.

  • I truly enjoyed watching and watching this again and again. <333

  • Claudio dances a little in his chair and the crowd just fuckin' loves it. He can manipulate the audience so well. Every move he makes and word he speaks just spits emotional connection to the listener.

  • Epic comment.

  • @xmotoxstudx anthony green does the same thing but he tends to shake a little more lol

  • GOD this is my favorite song ever!!! and it sounds awesome acoustic too!! coheed=god

  • This song was made for Acoustic. There are all of the dead notes and such that can only be appreciated when played on acoustic.

But, I suppose the same could be said for all their songs. Acoustic = Coheed

  • watcha mean dead notes?

  • I'm guessing they meant muting the strings...? I'm not sure though.

  • I've heard palm muting called killing the notes before, so I'm agreeing with you.

  • Yeah, almost all the songs they've recorded on SSTB were recorded in Claud's bedroom and he played on Acoustic.

  • SSTB = Punk/Prog Rock

    IKSSE = Prog Rock = 21:13

    FFTTEOM = Experimental/Prog Rock/Hard Rock

    NWFT = Pop Rock/Classic Rock/Prog Rock/Experimental.

They try to do something different on every album they record for the sake of musicianship and other creative purposes. Personally there isn't an album where I don't absolutely love at least one song on it, so I'd say that they're doing a damn fine job at what they do.

  • Way to stick it to the non-believers. Coheed has held onto their beliefs...they do what they do because they love doing it. They have been through change, yet they come out stronger than ever.

  • well put, i cant stand when people associate a band with their first album, it drives me absolutely crazy. CoCa is pure genious.

  • Usually associating a band with their first album is bad, but with CoCa, iv read many places that their first is considered their best. I have to agree. SSTB was amazing

  • theres a lot of pop rock in IKSSE too

  • This sounds amazing!

What is with Coheed and their amazing acoustic versions of their songs!?

  • i think all their albums have a different sound and feel to them...but theyre all good...thats what i think anways

  • i'd love to go to Neverender. That'd be the most musically amazing 4 nights I could ever imagine.

i love this song so much, i play it everyday.

and i always love how their acoustic versions sound. takes incredible talent to write this kindof music, takes even more to change it up and play it acousticaly.

    Coheed will be remembered always.

  • Well you really can't blame them. Coheed and Cambria almost disbanded after burning star IV. It's a miracle the forth album was even made. I'm sure the next album will be up to their usual standards.

  • =) love it

  • jeez man, i would have literally given my left nut to go to neverender

  • Lets all hope Coheed is different on the 5th album ;3 Remember the story of Coheed and Cambria takes place over 5 albums! The beginning of the story is next!

  • I love how he uses the echo on his mic on just about every show. He messes with it on the live at the starland ballroom cd by screaming into it just to hear the echo.

  • IKSOSE:3

SSTB = NWFT or SSTB by a little

    GA1

Sorry but FFTTEOM is easily their weakest CD. Still my fourth favorite CD ever though. Coheeds weakest CD owns any other bands best.

  • wow, this song sounds even better live!!!

  • It's stuff like this that makes me think that every show they do should be acoustic. Absolutely amazing.

  • clauds voice is really good in this top performance coca rawk

  • the neverender event coming soon, coheed will play all four albums live from first song to last its gonna be insanely badass, only the luck few will be there

  • My favorite albums go like this:

    1. SSTB

    2. IKSSE:3

    3. NWFT

    4. Good Apollo

I've tried to get into Good Apollo more than I am, but the only songs I really enjoy are the Wishing Well songs. I still think Coheed's best songs are from SSTB, followed by IKSSE:3.

  • Mic looks drunk bobbing up and down lol.

Seriously though this is one of their best acoustics ever.

  • knowing his previous substance abuse he probably is drunk, lol

  • coheed seriously kicks ass. i mean who can rock out on a song amazingly and then turn around and play it acoustic just as amazing?

  • 3. All their acoustics sound great.

But Coheed's still better. I fuckin' LOVE Coheed so much. I wish I lived near a city where they were playing Neverender.

  • That was awesome... Claudio is the fucking man.

  • my favs

    1.fftteom

    2.sstb

    2.nwft

    2iksose

  • i disagree with everyone i find myself listening to every album equally. It all depends on my mood and mine is always changing so the album is always changing as well .. i live in the northeast and i find season actually has an effect on the coheed i listen to

  • I live in the northeast also and I feel the same way. But overall i think my favorite is SSTB. then IKSOSE3, NWFT, good apollo

  • Good apollo = sstb

    in keeping secrets

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    .

    nwft

    seiously, nwft was pathetic....

  • ya the more i listen to NWFT I've actually changed my mind I think I like good apollo 1 better

  • NWFT is really pretty horrible in my opinion. It sounds liek they sold out...

  • i respectfully disagree

  • that dude would have to be at a show to even know that, somebodys cell phone doesnt really count. But I have been seeing them since they had to set up their own equipment and rode in a winnebago, and they've been known to be pretty tight live from time to time.

  • i think thats a bit harsh all there albums r great in my opinion

  • well boy do i disagree with you

  • well...they are all a talented bunch....Claudio and Travis are the most underratted guitarists of all time IMO... Mic Todd is actualy an amazing bassist too....if you see the finger work he does....and Josh Eppard is an amazing Drummer of course....Chris Pennie WAS good at what he did in dillenger he just doesnt fit in with this band...i think everything they do is a masterpeice.... they are brilliant musicians

  • Wow wasn't that Claudio's first attempt as a producer. I think he's saying something about how he's worked with the other projects and "felt I was ready to produce"

Watch the bonus disc on NWFT.

Claudio took even more lead on this one. :/ He'll be unhappy and maybe even give yout he honor of being killed in a song.

But they're sound does sound ---cleaner than they're prog rock sound from IKSOSE:3

  • It seems all bands go that way - they're all punk/hardcore/indie/breakout - then they get attention/deals and get same sound but with better recording - then they start fucking with alternative or other things usually aidng synths ALOT - then they "calm down" and try a more alternative album so usually slower, easier. But they're usually so far frm they're start and they just sound to polished they don't have that flavor that go them the attention everywhere.

  • So it's just building on the fanbase already.

    Don't agree?

Think of all your favorite bands- they follow that.

  • nope, i can think of a few bands that dont follow that formula;

    Emperor, Immortal, AC/DC anyone?

  • But AC/DC sucks.

  • same here except mine goes

    1.)Second Stage

    2.)In Keeping Secrets

    3.)Good Apollo

    4.)No World For Tomorrow

  • ah fuck...I forgot to capitalize Claudio's name...shame on me!!

  • oh men sorry! i accidentally hit the poor comment button! i was about to give you a good comment.

  • AHHAHA!

    pwned!

  • personally I think this is my favorite vocalization by claudio...this or Neverender

  • I like him on Time Consumer

  • Mines probably The Light & The Glass his vocals on that were amazing

  • I also disagree, although it is with you. I believe In Keeping Secrets is the best, then Second Stage, then I'd say it's a tie between the Good Apollo's. But in reality I can't really say any album is better than another. The type of mood I'm in usually dictates which album I listen to.

  • no I also have to disagree, but I agree with wilskankforest. Secret has to many unconnected proggy shizzle. Second stage is so good.

  • i think SSTB would have been much better if it had been mixed differently...there are almost no dynamics, and it lacks in a lot of the more progressive effects of the other albums.

SSTB feels kind of dry...but it's pretty dang kickass anyway. probably the best album if it was mixed better. haha. but that's just my opinion.

  • i miss the old days with acoustic sessions like this. I mean when was the last time they played the light and the glass?

  • The old days would have been songs from Second Stage Turbine Blade.

All their other albums pale in comparison, all the songs off of SSTB are gorgeous.

In keeping secrets was decent and it is just going downhill.

  • I disagree completely. The albums all have different styles which means that its hard to compare them. I do agree though that SSTB is one hell of an amazing album

  • was actually supposed to reply to atomicores comment.

  • It's so amazing how they can go from one part of the song to another so Claud-damned smoothly!

    Brilliant!

  • NICE!!!!

  • beautiful

  • Never take this video off. Or someone will die.

  • Whoops wrong video lol, he gets confused at 3:22 in this one, still a little mistake Coheed and Cambria Best Band EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Claudio got confused at 2:50 lol

  • this video is fuckin' great.

My favorite co&ca song ever. :D

  • this vid is so sick! coheed rocks!

  • It's pretty kickass when you can find a band that sounds just as good, if not better, live than they do on cd...fucking awesome

  • I want to cry when I hear this, lmao.

  • same here with like evry last song on each albumb lol

  • excellent song by the greatest musicians of our time

  • i love this song...its like an unoffcial lullaby

  • this song sounds better in standard. i don't like it as much in e flat.

  • OMG CLAUDIO SOUNDS SOSOSOOS SEXY!

  • hmmm...i love the live version more than the cd.

  • This was both acoustic and electric show, they played 2113.

  • Does Anyone Know What Tuning Their Guitars Are In? I Know This Songs Calls For standard Tuning But They Sound A Little Different, Can Someone Help Me Out Here!

  • most likely Eb

  • how do you tune to that and please tell me how to tune down half a step cuz i know thats how you get into Eb so please tell me in words how to tune down half a step pretty please

  • this sounds fine in standard.

  • tune your low E string down to Eb and tune the rest of the strings to that string

  • even though this is four months old...i'll give it a shot...ok first in standard, hold the sixth fret on the low e string, and tune 'til it sounds like the a string, from there, just tune normally

  • dude....thats F.

to tune to e flat, tune your A to the 4th fret of the 6th E, then tune the E to the Ab.

  • some sort of malfunction. That or he did in face pop a string. I dunno.

  • I don't like the CD version of this song so much, but I love this version.

  • cant wait till august 3rd! i hope they play a kick ass set! hopefully their new members are good too!

  • on 3:24

  • mistersamza did u see this show live? because this song and a couple others i heard from this show sounded amazing i saw coheed twice in philly and their kick ass live i reaaly want to see a acoustic show of them

  • sadly i didn't get to see this show. i found it online and put it up. i remember reading somewhere that they're planning on doing an acoustic show sometime in the future. don't quote me though. they're going to be on this years warped tour so you should go see them when they come to your area. i know i am.

  • when was this

  • July 10th 2005

  • it looks like he popped a string

  • ahh gotta love it

  • wow...amazing footage...great find

  • This sounded so good I was in the balchony and it was like I was next to um :*)

  • no way man that's awesome. yea for an amateur video it sounded pretty good.
