@BGilly80 In the Book Nothing Feels Good, by Andy Greenwald, he asks Adam the same question and Adam says because when people go to his shows he likes to get the audience really involved because they're at the show for him as much as he's at the show for them. The last part is a toss up but, I think you are correct... Man: Adam use 2 add extra words 2 songs in live performances "back in the day" --> shows you how much he feels what he wrote...

I hate how people say that new Taking Back Sunday sucks. And they say it as a fact. It is totally a matter of opinion. I like both old and new Taking Back Sunday. I don't particulaly have a favourite as they're both unique and different in their own ways.

Every song on TAYF is just filled with passion and it makes you want to repeat the whole album again because you are in awe struck on how much you felt through it. I don't know to me Tell All Your Friends next to brand new's your favorite weapon are soundtracks to my life because it defined so many moments. but yeah thats why people prefer old TBS and say they suck now because their passion has just run dry or so it seems.

Jesse WAS in the band at one point way back when. look for and download Summer Stars you can distinctively hear Jesse in the background late in the song. He was in it when Antonio was still the singer and Adam joined the band w/ Antonio still singing. He originally played bass in the band until Antonio quit and Eddie said he wanted a singer who only sang and didn't play an instrument. Adam who stole the show quite often on bass anyway became the enigmatic frontman we see here and still today.

I saw them in Pittsburgh on the second show of the 2002 tour and so amazing! Raw energy with real crowd interaction. People jumping on the stage, Adam coming into the crowd, I actually held the microphone as he was screaming into it!!!
