  • Haha awesome! pure fan classic. Check out my channel for a live action Knights of the Old Republic fan film :)

  • Not bad! :D

  • Gay

  • He kinda looks like a young Kyle Katarn up until he blows up.

  • Well done! *****

Watch our "Star Wars - The Force of 300" fan film.

  • nice, but the music was stupid

  • What program did you use for the background and rotoscoping?

  • Very good fan film!

Very different with the whole retro/sepia look and filming!

The backgrounds and sabers were very well done!

And the fighting was fun to watch as well, did it take a long time to make?

  • pretty good compared to the many i've seen on yt, but all jedi vids are full of cliches, and silly "hollywood" sword fights, i hope to see a more realistic sword fight and something other than the same old jedi plain good or bad persona.

  • I like it. Electro style tricking combat. Sort of feels like A.I. Mixed with Tron?

  • Wow good Job; I love that ending, the only efficient way to kill a Jedi.

  • luckily the sepia makes the sabers look golden haha I love that color saber. Can I ask what colors they were supposed to be?

  • @Mydnytefantasy89

The Jedi is green and the Bounty Hunter is yellow :)

Did you like it the rest of it?

  • this is one of the few fan films I've seen where you guys made the hand to hand combat just as good as the sword play. nicely done, good affects.

  • @EternalDarkness316

Thanks you. I grew up watching Hong Kong movies, so I had to do some unarmed combat in the middle of it.

I'm finishing a new film only with hand to hand combat. You'll probably like it :) I'll post here when is done.

  • mmm good textures but combat is failure...

  • Nice Choreo...Beautiful camerawork (film is very clean and crisp) and good enviornment. Great Job.

  • He's wearing a Kyle Katarn outfit! I'm not a fan of the sepia, but other than that I loved it.

  • I'm glad you liked :).

And you're right - the costume was heavily inspired by the Kyle Katarn outfit.

Everyone in the production (including the actors) are fans of the Dark Forces series, so that was a way to give a nod to those fantastic games.

  • I like the stunts and background. Although everything had a sophian tint, I found it enjoyable. However, there are a few things I didn't like. One of those things is the lightsaber fighting. You did a good job with the hand-to-hand combat and such, but when youused the lightsabers, it sort of... felt slow... I admit though that it looks like you put a LOT of effort into it so I am giving it 4/5. It was just the lightsaber parts that felt a little bland. Other than that, great vid. Thanks!

  • Thanks for the comment and rate.

I did this shot movie some years ago and it was my first fight scene ever - I do understand why you feel it's a little bit slow.

The sophian tint was on purpose - I was trying to capture a old school look, something like the "Sky Captain" movie.

  • Ah. I see. Something with the tint though: if you made the contrast a little darker, then I would get a Steampunk feel to it. Look up Star Wars Steampunk action figures or pictures. They are awesome. Anyway, great vid. 4/5

  • yes. in my opinion there are much better films with lightsabers on youtube, really i dont know what is so great about this movie

  • Why didn't you like it? Can you be more specific?

  • WTF is that shit?

  • You didn't like it?

  • I loved Dark Forces II, and I can see you went for that style and theme, even the costuming. I love it!

  • You're totally right, Dark Forces 2 (and the first one also) was one of the influences - I love those games. I love the fact that they have a more "dark" feel than the other Star Wars products.

  • Awesome job!

  • Thanks!

  • Wow, that was actually really good. The choreography was pretty good, and I really liked the feel of it. It was a very original take on lightsaber combat, and it works. Kudos!

  • Hey man, I only saw your comment now, months later. Sorry...lol

Thanks for the praise, I'm glad you enjoyed.
