Kit Carson's resting place is a special destination for local indians. In Taos New Mexico an old foot path has been tread for generations. Tewa Indians walk this path daily. After an all-day drunk stumbling and shuffling back home to the reservation they stop and pee on Kit Carson's grave. FACT
@jeanscottbenson IF true, that is pathetic. When a people is so degraded as to use that as its "revenge," they have about reached the end. Drunks peeing on a grave. Wow. If they want to "prove" something, then they need to succeed, to make something of themselves....all this proves is that they're acting as bad as the prejudiced people thought they were....
@jeanscottbenson I have a photo of his grave taken back in the 60's when I was a snot-nose........ did alittle research years ago on him, was a stud in his younger years, went all over the place was actually great friends , lived with , thought of as family by several tribes,... untill the US Govt got ahold of him, during there quest to destroy indian tribes........ Kit taught them how. Thats why they detest him to this day. Cant says I blame them.
I got a picture of his grave back in the 60s,.. was my hero till I found out he turned on his friends the "navajo", and was paid by the US govt to help wipe them out, he did it very well too.
seriously A, that cemetery is not creepy my buddies and i used to hang out in the park super late at night and B the actual people who founded the city are burried in canyon. but nevertheless nice pics

I've heard that before, only I heard they don't just pee. It's good to hear from people how badly the Indians were treated by him. Thanks.

The only creepy thing about the cemetery is the homeless guys and drunk high schoolers that congregate there...>.>

Dieser Friedhof ist nicht sehr gepflegt, sehr traurig. Kit Carson scheint in Vergessenheit zu geraten?!

You are going to have to write in English in order for me to understand you. Or, can someone else translate this?
