  • I can't believe he is over 40... this mofo could get with girls my age (23)

  • Amazing form.

  • amazing man sounds tough but it just shows how hard of a worker you are and have the physique that shows it good work man

  • @FitnessGuru91 Thank you for watching and your kind comment. I wish you the best in health and strength! Dan

  • thanx dan. your a real inspiration. never stop chasing the dream.

  • @vulk9317 Thank you for watching and stay healthy! Dan.

  • Yes, plenty of surgeries. But the body will only strengthen if it is forced to action. Dan.

  • its pretty motivating if you had surgery.

  • This is very inspirational! You can do it if you want it bad enough. I was diagnosed with an illness that put me in chronic pain, but I forced myself to start lifting and moving again and now I'm doing way better. Starting again is the hard part. But once the ball gets rolling it's great

  • @DannySayChow

Agreed,I've had so many problems that I don't want to go into it all.I will say after a surgery I had at 4 years old the doctor's told me I wouldnt be able to play sports but thanks to bodybuilding they now say I'm perfectly capable of participating in any sport. If I can do it anyone can.

It Sucks that I didnt get to play sports in highschool but the way I see it better to be a happy adult then a fat slob who thinks the best years of your life are the 3 short years of highschool

  • @KaeruthePaladin WOW! Very well put. Don't dwell on the past, it is dead and gone forever. All you have is TODAY! Dan.

  • Thank you! Dan.

  • One of the best looking bodies ever

  • I couldn't help but laugh at the reporter when decided to curl that 15 pound weight in such a gay manner...

  • No one said that the doctor and medical care was not of help. It's a TOTAL EFFORT on all involved to be totally successful. But the MIND of the person or person's directly involved MUST be convinced that they can be successful or they will fail. The EFFORT one puts forth will be in direct proportion to what they THINK and BELIEVE in their mind that they can accomplish. That’s how ALL positive or negative circumstances are created. And that’s a FACT! Dan.

  • "it's all in the mind". BULL-SHIT. Yes, one cannot overcome adversity w/o effort. But the idea that genetics and excellent medical care didn't play major roles is absurd. I hate idiotic, self-serving statements like that.

  • Bigger is not always better. With the accident it's hard to squat and tough with the limited range of motion in the ankle. Thanks for watching and asking. Dan.

  • Inspirational story. When was the last time you worked heave? You could, and should, be allot bigger.

  • Thanks for writing. Every accident is serious when it happens to YOU! I'm glad you persisted and did not give up. Stay healthy. Dan.

  • Thank you for sharing this! Although my accident was nothing like yours, I feel for you brother! I was ignorant and laid a 75lb dumbbell on my index finger and it popped and peeled like a banana, 2 months later my oxygen chamber treatments were done, my finger was saved and I was back at it. Now at 5'7 155lb and doing nothing but hypertrophy with the occasional heavy sets every few weeks! If you never give up, than you always succeed!!

  • nice

  • Thank you. Real winners know what it takes to be a winner! Dan.

  • People that complain about "I can't do that it looks like hard work" or "I'll be no good at that" really need a lesson on life from this guy.

    True inspiration.

  • Nice

  • u look like ur at ur mid 20s goodjob.

  • @sphinxofthenewage Thank you! Dan.

  • Lol, i like how at 1:00 the guy is lifting a 5pound dumbbell like he was working out with it?

  • cheers for the inspiration man, broke my leg nearly two years ago real badly, still having operations done but hope to get back to the weights properly someday. cool vid.

  • guau!! cuerpo perfecto!

  • An art form hahahaha

  • 5:48? WTF not new at 5:30....¬_¬

  • This guy is a fantastic bodybuilder he just for one isnt in his prime and the biggest thing he didnt inject drugs into his ass to get big. He earned his body and worked through an injury. If thats not inspiration to you then fuck off.

  • whats wrong?

  • Gross head and neck.

  • This is why you shouldn't listen to twits that's telling you "something is impossible".

  • this is not a first case where doctors said "youre never gonna recover again" i heard about. im actually starting to think that doctors are just being jerks or somethin...

  • @Bjelor They dont Wanna get your hope up i would think?

  • @Bjelor I think they use the term "most likely", because it is most likely the case. If this man wasn't this determined, he most likely wouldn't be where he is today. So I wouldn't blame the doctors.

  • @Bjelor Dr's are trying to give self-less scientific based information and recommendation on the best thing to do. They do not raise the bar too high for legal reasons, a lot of doctors are being sued for giving "Not so clear" info. Dont hate doctors, they are just doing their job as best as they can. Dan is obviously an inspiration, not everybody is.

  • @Bjelor My doctor's were clear with me that they thought I had very little chance of keeping the leg. One BIG reason was infection and missing muscle and skin that gives blood for healing . Every case and every doctor is different. A person must deal with the task at hand no matter what the case is! Dan.

  • Jst like when they told Franco he would never walk again and he went on to win an olympia.....

  • hes in good shape

  • that's inspirational

  • Hes not that musculair for a body builder, weird that he won a body building contest with it.

  • Holy fucking ouucchh!!!

  • not a bodybuilder..

  • @luisRRR69

    Oh and why not?

  • @pickchicken hes not a good one then lol

  • no traps??

  • what the heck?? get some real dumbells

  • INCREDEBLE!!

  • 1:56 look at his face !!!

  • @ZxmrcoolxZalexhallZx You mean before he goes reptilian?

  • when was that in the 80s?

  • I have powerblocks too. They are an amazing product.

  • @airplaneking WHat is a power blokc? I've heard of em but I've never seen em before.

  • Did you even try to search online? They are the dumbells that guy was using.

  • LOL....the reporter was hilarious holding a tiny winy little weight

  • Holy Tauleto!

  • I felt good that I leg extended more than a bodybuilder did...then I heard the story...and felt guilty. lol

  • haha your friend sounds like Tony Robbins. I dont know why I noticed that lol, but great job!

  • pics of leg or negs

  • @maymarkotto strong T MISC

  • You are incredible...much love sweetie.

  • Thank you! Dan.

  • @PRZYOJSKI Hey is this you in the video?

  • You are Amazing!

  • Thank you. "What the mind of man can conceive and believe it can achieve"

    Napoleon Hill.

  • He must have great mental will power 2 achieve what he did. Great job man.

  • Thanks, Dan.

  • man, I didn't mean to be nasty or nothing...

just pointing out what I see...

you call making a youtube channel a life? HAH!

  • Know, but what you put on the channel should be your real life, not a fantasy. Make your life count, make something happen don't just watch others!. Dan.

  • lol at 0:36, not even lifting properly

  • I've won best arms in two bodybuilding contests so I must be doing something right. To many lifters get caught up in the hyped crap of "commercial training" and never learn how to train for their body type. That's why lifters these days rely on steroids for growth and strength, their modern training methods don't build muscle so they resort to drugs.

  • shutup

  • if I had money id go to the gym too but I am doing excersizes at home

  • yup he's the man

  • Nice to see a genuine healthy body builder who doesn't use roids.

  • Thank you! Dan.

  • WTF?

  • Observe, gents, that this contest-winner looks NOTHING like "the pros", those poor excuses for athletes who use illegal substances in order transform their bodies into monstrous non-human globs of fakery. There is no comparison between the legitimate athlete in this vid and the non-clean lifters that some of you call "natural". And the differences, if you know what you're looking at/for, show up in many places, not just the skeletal muscle.

This guy's a great example for the masses!

  • Thank you for the great insight and recognition. Most people have fallen into the "Physical Cult" not "Physical Culture". Dan.

  • It doesn't prove everybody wrong........it proves some people wrong.

  • It proves most everyone wrong.

  • this guy truly is inspirational. He doesn't even look 40+! He looks so much younger.

  • His Body looks naturally trained!

    Great Work keep it up!

  • Thanks!! Dan.

  • yap...totaly looks natural...his look is my wannabe

  • you are SEXY AND GORGEOUS! and have beautiful muscles

  • You know this guy is juicing.

  • so what?!

  • ya but how often do you see 40+ yr old guy in the shape hes in...?

  • actually before the days of steroids most body builders were older. Men dont reach their peek testosterone levels until their middle aged.

  • middle aged huh? i don't think so....then why do so many middle aged men need viagra? steroids have been used for the greater part of the 20th century. i don't think bodybuilding, as we know it, has been around much longer.
