I'm American. I do respect the Muslim religion (Though I am Catholic). In fact, I relate it to any other religion. But America is one of the few countries that have a bad habit of mixing 'Race' with 'Religion'. I honestly hate it a lot.
The term/slang "Arab" is the worst. Especially in this new generation (Like from 'Negro' to 'Ni**er' and 'Nigga'). Why do people have to separate race with such words. It's nonsense!

My point was that you obviously subconsciously associate Islam with terrorism because you brought it up despite the fact that it has nothing to do with the subject matter apart from the fact that Iran is Muslim. you question itself was not very well though through. The reason that people associate Islam with terrorism is because you only have to switch on the news to see Muslims blowing stuff up. I myself don't believe they are all terrorists.

There's a wonderful French animated movie called "Persepolis" which gives a small glimpse into what life was like for the youth of Iran in the 70's and 80's. It's a brilliant film.

@inmepete And wasn't it enough clear and straight? I mean, instead of going in circles it went straight to the point, and that's really good. I'm not going to encourage Iranian youth again, but whoevre who didn't imagine something like this, had so little an imagination- Obviously, like anywehere else, there had to be people who weren't quite happy about their country current state. Other than that, Brilliant video, seriously- it's a very appealing way to raise awareness. Good job.

@TheFactoryOfLight I understand your point fully. It definitely raises awareness and leaves the viewer interested to find out more... But I just feel it got too arty which in some respects diluted the message. My only point was that it was too short in my opinion, I never said it wasn't clear and straight. I would just of liked to of found out a little more about the blogging revolution through the video.

@inmepete I totally agree with you at that. Indeed I also think it would be of greater interest an extended report on the issue. It might be diluted for all of those who were already interested in the matter, such as yourself, or so seems to me, but in such format, namely as a short video, it easily attracts and appeals to a less demanding public. We might have to dig deeper into the blogging revolution to feel satisified, I reckon.

They just keep on dealing with Iranian government, prepare technology for Iranian oil industry to use the produced oil, and help Iran to buy what they (Iranian government) need in terms of keeping people silent and to feed their soldiers -official and unofficial- to shutter people with bottoms, prison them, rape them, kill them and bury them like a bastard dog. I expect you live outside of Iran at the moment. It is very controversial to offend the sovereignity of a country. And it's hard to say if an invasion will solve the problems. Look at Iraq and the political vacuum than was created as soon as the invaders left again. It are these questions that oppose the West to invade.

@dreiraben sorry sir, but you're completely misinformed. im iranian, and my cousins, aunts, and uncles are all in from iran. the election was very clearly rigged, with president mousavi clearly being the actual chosen leader. demonstrations flood the streets due to the fact that its so clear that the election was rigged. i dont mean to be offensive- just informative.

@PhantomSoulX In fact, surprisingly, all those demonstrations, and especially, how they were 'neutralised' for the sake of the Revolution we're spotted on the Western Media almost everyday last year. Apparently, people here were shocked by such repression. However, it seems Westerners do forget really fast about problems they do not care. And thus, we're not going forwards- we merely stay the same.So, please, keep trying to raise awareness in all corners.
